Enemies

  • Enemy AI a bit smarter. Those with mobility skills (whopper, smol geovishap, cycin mages) won't follow you to drown in the water. The game will not check if you are wet , but if you are in a swimming state.
  • Enemies attack cycle improve. Fixed bug when enemies stop attacking. Baedou Problems.
  • Hydro Abyss Mage's and Hydro Fatui Gunner's Hydro Barrier now takes the same damage rate/ratio from opposing elements (cryo,electro) for consistency.
  • Hydro barrier new opposing element : Geo. It makes it harder to maintain the water shield due to the mud soaking up the water and adding weight.
  • Boss Childe's Spirit Whale Attack generates water in the sides of the arena, pushing you towards the center. You must have enough stamina to keep dashing to the sides before he does this, or you will have to perfectly dodge the spirit whale attack.
  • Hydro SamaChurl now heals at a rate of +300/HoT per AR Milestone instead of percentage. This is for when you are hunting a LawaChurl Bounty that is near dead and healed to full health in 3 seconds. Having a fixed amount of healing ensures that it is big enough for the intended smaller enemies and portionally good enough for large enemies. The other option is to use different healing ratios for small and large enemies.
  • Queen of Pain , I mean Cycin Mages have a stagger window when they are about to cast their almost-undispellable shield
  • Zed , I mean Shadow Fatui Agent makes use of his shadows to dodge your attack sometimes.
  • Smol Geo Vishap now drops less geo shields
  • Smol Geo Vishap now uses his rolling attack near you, not 150m away from you.
  • Smol Geo Vishap now burrows a bit less frequently
  • Ruin Hunter doesn't stay in the air up and raining artillery forever , in consideration of bowless comps
  • Fatui Cryo and Hydro Gunner Turn Rate Reduced by 10% when on Spray Mode.
  • Primo GeoVishap now has a tired/exhausted animation, instead of standing still and looking at you and what life could have been for 10 seconds.
  • Primo GeoVishap spin attack now has a 0.2 dodge window (previously none) and Spin Radius Decreased by 100m.

Characters

  • Dvalin's Cutscene when you dispel his barrier is removed and much smoother. He just falls in place and no clipping.
  • Character's "Main Stat" is now visible in attributes. Previously you can only know it when ascending or when using google, or if you really have a big brain.
  • All characters passive talents are now combat related.
  • All characters now have their own cooking/exploration/crafting/smithing talents. It is possible not to have OR have multiple talents in each category. We get it , everyone can taste what a good gravy is, but not everyone can make a good gravy.

Ayaka

  • Alternate sprint binded to a different hotkey.
  • Yes I came from the future.

Albedo

  • Elevator can be activated to go up and down by using the F key.
  • C2 stack counter / indicator via particles (think of razor geo sigils)
  • C4 plunged attack covers albedo's sword in geo energy (like noelle, but smol)
  • C6 crystallize shield has a different shape (leaf)

Amber

  • Increased ultimate radius by a tiny bit.
  • Allow targeting of ulimate by holding the ultimate button.
  • If baron bunny is present in the ultimate radius, it will absorb all pyro damage and deal it as bonus damage when it blows up.
  • If baron bunny was "charged" with pyro rain and hit with a C2 charged shot, it will trigger a micheal bay explosion animation.

Barbara

  • Restored Barbara's Energetic Voice Lines
  • New Lines sold seperately as Dark Barbara™ , comes with a Dark Dress
  • C6 Revive indicator is now visible as a buff.
  • C4 now generates flying energy particles instead of instantly regaining energy. Mind you that this is a fucking nerf to this piece of shit healer that freezes you. It's just that there's no flying particles when you use this hero.

Beidou

  • Casting the elemental skill applies a strong taunt and re-initializes enemies attack loop.
  • Bullet Time effect added when triggering a perfect counter, when playing in single player mode.
  • The ultimate's chain lightning deals tiny spark damage if it didn't jump.
  • C2 chain lightning has a different color.
  • C4 buff is triggered when you do a perfect counter (Taking damage to activate a skill promotes bad gameplay)
  • C4 perfect counter grants the maximum damage bonus
  • C4 shield has a different color.
  • C6 has aura on the ground (inspired by Dota 2's Necrophos , but purple)

Bennet

  • C6 Ultimate pyro infusion just adds pyro damage to your attacks, and won't convert them fully into pyro.
  • C6 Ultimate restores up to 100% hp.

Childe

  • Improved manly posture when in aiming mode
  • C4 Riptide slash and flash uses different coloparticles/animation
  • C6 has an indicator when it works and when it is available

Chongyun

  • Cryo Field's Cryo infusion just adds cryo damage to your attacks, and won't convert them fully into cryo.

Diluc

  • What seriously? You really want more?
  • Fuck this guy in particular
  • Elemental Sword Duration Indicator added
  • C6 his flames has some bluish tint

Diona

  • Fixed shield duration bug and increased by additional 1.1 seconds per claw.
  • Shield ratio based off max hp increased by 10%
  • C2 reduces skill cooldown by -2 seonds (press) and -4 (hold). The coop shield is added by default out of the box. Anything coop should not be locked behind a paywall because it will hurt the game and fanbase.
  • C4 has been reworked to grant normal and aimed uncharged shots 25% chance to deal charged attack shots.
  • C6 radius is increased and uses a different color.

Fischl

  • Ultimate now deals tiny bit of damage per 0.2 seconds tick when making contact with enemies (aside from getting hit by lightning once)
  • Ultimate can fly/pass through thorn walls. I'm looking at you Dendro Samachurl.
  • Shadow Raven Let Night F---!!!
  • C4 Ultimate hp restored now scales off damage dealt by the ult.

Ganyu

  • holding the elemental skill allows you to aim and won't make you backdash
  • C4 Freezing Field changes color intensity per damage increase
  • C6 free frost charged arrow now works with normal unaimed attacks.
  • C6 uses a different particle color. Sometime it turns into a bazooka.

Jean

  • Reduced Increased swaying of boobs by a tiny amount while holding the skill. You can kinda feel them slapping against your face. You can almost describe their softness and warmth in a minimum of 10 pages apart from you going sommelier describing how deep her sweat tastes like.
  • Jean's Charged Attack Launch Height is too damn high that you cant even hit the enemy, so - Reworked Jean's Charged Attack : Holding the attack button launches the enemy in the air. If you keep holding it down you will perform 3 slashes in the air. If you let go early you will stay on the ground.
  • Base Attack Increased by +5
  • Jean can now pick up the slimes dropped by enemies and use it against them for a bighead move
  • Ultimate radius is increased
  • Ultimate Wall Mechanic Reversed. Enemies are now trapped inside. When you use your skill (usually to regain energy) you can air-wall slam them. Block Projectiles from outside.
  • If any of you actually played jean support, a normal person would use ult to heal, cast skill to regain energy, then switch back to other characters. It doesn't make fucking sense to push them outside your wind arena because you want to fight inside the swirl/healing zone.
  • Ultimate swirls every 0.2 seconds , depending on what elements are inside. Field Changes Color Each Time Like a Disco Ball
  • Ultimate now slowly succs enemies to the center(without lifting them up)
  • Ultimate Damage is consequently reduced.
  • C1 Uses a different colored windblast
  • C2 Buff Indicator
  • C4 uses a different color wind field
  • C6 Ultimate is now an aura and moves with you. To break away from "buffed area" convention.
  • C6 Ultimate will get you to keep the windsaber for the ult's duration

Keqing

  • Aiming mode feels a lot smoother. You can aim while moving and cursor immediately shows and the kungfu pose is only done when throwing the stilleto.
  • When in single player mode, casting your ultimate produces a bullet time effect.

  • C6 Description is confusing as fuck.

  • C6 Makes your sword light up like a lightsaber.

Klee

  • Imroved Torch/Bonfire/Campfire and the likes Lockon (if there's any to begin with)
  • Throwing Jumpty Dumpty provides 0.1s iframe during her spin
  • Ult is now no longer greedy. Pyro satellites remain when you switch characters, making our lovable klee open up for support options. Child support.
  • C4 is now manually triggered, Pressing q again will make her explode, bigger damage based off remaining duration. less duration left, less damage.
  • C6 klee uses different bombs

Lisa

  • A lingerie shop is opened in Mondstadt to change her pantsu, socks and garter belt style and colors. Black Leather Tight Suit™ Sold Seperately.
  • Option to wear glasses as a Librarian added.
  • Climbing voice volume is re-mastered in asmr microphone, in all languages.
  • Requires "i am of legal age" consent in the user center
  • Elemental skill (press) aoe slightly increased.

  • Holding the skill button surrounds her in mini jade screens , unable to perform any action until it is released or ends. Useful for cinematic stuff. Imagine tanking childe's whale attack. Or someone wants to recreate triple rashomon scene.
  • C6 has a chance to use different attack animation.

Noelle

  • Elemental Sword Duration Indicator added
  • C1 heals have a special effect and voice line when conditions are met.

  • Fixed crafting bug not producing any bonus when using large quantities (say 100+)
  • Improved lock on when blowing off dandelion flowers. Idk how she keeps missing them even at point blank range, Hell , at any given range.
  • C1 if you overlap the wind nukes the second one will be a 0.1s delay then it will go off with a slightly bigger radius
  • C2 ult has a different color
  • C4 has an indicator that it works
  • C6 buff indicator

Venti

  • Wind current generated by skill (hold) allows him to fall slower without gliding, and allows him to shoot wind lasers. Ehe
  • C2 Charged Shot produces a bullet time effect when shot at point blank or if all 3 arrows hit a single enemy. Sometimes he draws the holy lyre and it transforms into a primitive shotgun.

  • C6 during the ultimate if it contacts with gouba's flames it produces micheal bay effects while raining carpet bombs and shit.
  • Yes flat is justice.

Xingqiu

  • C6 plunge-attack-no-cooldown-empowered-dashes uses a different particle color and produces a bullet time effect when used for the 3rd time onwards. useful for cinematic purposes
  • C6 during the bullet time you can sneak in a normal attack once per dash
  • Bullet time is always disabled in multiplayer

Zhongli

  • Increased pillar aoe by a tiny bit
  • Generates energy particles per pulse, maximum of 1 enemy per pillar
  • Base attack increased by 5
  • Travelers can redeem promo code "WHOSYOURDADDY" for additional +5 damage, regardless if they have the hero or not.
  • Attack ratios increased by 3% per attack category.
  • C1 has a slightly bigger dong eherm statue
  • C4 Chaos Meteor errrr I mean Order Meteor has a different rock color
  • C6 shield uses a different color , come on you get the drift already.
  • C6 Meteor is affected by the element of the barrier you are wearing. The element is dealt as secondary damage, primary damage is still geo. (flaming space rock?)

Why different coloparticles/animation when you have C1-C6 upgrade?

It makes whales feels special, and it gives F2P players something to aspire for. It makes you want to spend with all the bling. Particle recolor is easy peasy and can be deployed within minutes. Attack animations on the other hand are time consuming. It almost always put smile in people's faces when a whale shows up in a ferrari. "Dude check this out a C6 GeoDaddy joined my domain run. Look at the size of his statue. Oh my what a BIG meteor."

Why are you doing this?

It's just for my amusement. I'm still adding random thoughts now that 1.3 has launched. I don't care if nothing gets implemented. I would nut hard in my shorts with QoL and alleged bug/bugfixes mentioned in this post more than anything.

February for Pocket Camp is bringing a little wanderlust and nostalgia to our camping adventures, and we have an early look at the new items (and plenty of old ones) welcoming us to the romantic season. Huge thanks to Miranda for her continued help with the banners and item names, as well as to danc, JT, and coco from the ACPC Discord for their additional work datamining and sorting through the findings. Pocket Camp is adding a modest wall and floor collection featuring some exotic designs to celebrate the Chinese New Year, while it appears more romantically themed designs may be coming later in the month. The back half of February appears to have a running cat theme, potentially in part to celebrate the release of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Furry Fury and in part because cats are cute (if a little stuck-up).
      • A teaser sprite for Felicity’s kitty cookie. Judging by the Twitter teaser, this cookie offers pieces to create a charming cat café. (Well, you or animals might have to be the cats.) This cookie will likely release in mid-February.
      • A teaser sprite for what appears to be a second wall and floor collection for February, potentially offering some sweeter designs to coordinate with the month’s items.
      • A teaser sprite for Rudy the jock cat, likely signaling a new batch of animals late in February, potentially with some new cats, though that is speculation.
      • Lunar fireworks and lunar paper lanterns, traditional items to celebrate the lunar new year, potentially obtainable as log-in bonuses.
      • Valentine’s Day gifts to send to your friends, possibly containing a berry, honey, or mint valentines cupcake when opened, though this isn’t 100% confirmed.
      • A best-friend bouquet to be gifted to one animal of your choice. Based on similar events in the past and item labels, the animal is likely to give in return a box of chocolates with a personal note unique to their personality. If patterns correspond to previous events, then sweet, peppy, and snooty animals will give the red chocolate box; jock, cranky, and smug animals will give the blue chocolate box; and lazy and big sister animals will give the ivory chocolate box. If there is a mix-up with item labeling, then it’s possible the berry (red), mint (blue), and honey (yellow) cupcakes will be given instead, but as of now, the chocolate boxes seem more likely.
      • White and pink heart cockles available as limited-time seashells as part of the Heart Seashell Goals event, a shell-collecting event taking place between Rover’s Waffle Whimsy and the “chocolate” fishing tourney. Warm the cockles of your heart with enough collected seashells and you can earn a free Pecan’s house cookie! Say “cockle-doodle-I-do” when this event begins February 9th GMT / February 8th PST. Alright, let’s move on before I make any jokes I shouldn’t.
      • Some limited-time Valentine’s stamps to finally tell that one special friend how you feel in case your attempts to communicate through the market box aren’t working. Evidence of some limited-time poses was found as well!

Noteworthy Changes / Additions

Balance Changes

Dart Monkey
We’re happy enough with most of Dart Monkey’s bottom path, but the T4 stepping stone has always felt pretty undesirable for the price point compared to T3 so we have just increased the attack rate slightly at tier 4
  • xx4 Sharpshooter reload time reduced from 0.95 to 0.85s
  • xx5 Crossbow Master reload time remains unchanged
Boomerang Monkey
MOAB Press still feels dominant but not wildly outpacing other options so a small price increase has been made
  • xx4 MOAB Press price increased from 2000 to 2200
Bomb Shooter
Some low tier Bomb pierce has been shifted further up into the 2xx Heavy Bombs upgrade to effectively nerf 130 Mauler meta in price, but the price of these upgrades and MOAB Damage of T4 Maulers have both been buffed to benefit other variations of bomb better. Bloon Impact’s price was increased as it didn’t need to benefit from this buff, and a buff was made to 502’s Bloon Impact’s frags to alter this underused crosspath.
  • 000 base pierce reduced from 18 to 14
  • 1xx Bigger Bombs pierce bonus reduced from 10 to 6
  • 1xx Bigger Bombs price reduced from 400 to 350
  • 2xx Heavy Bombs now increases pierce by a further +10

Tack Shooter
Ring of Fire doesn’t perform well for the price as a low-range AoE tower with no single target advantage. Since we value the original design intent as low range AoE, we’ve lowered the price to remain a viable choice.
  • 4xx Ring of Fire price reduced from 4500 to 3500
Glue Gunner
Glue Strike currently allows for 240 crosspath to hit MOABs with 042 being more Ceramic focused but losing the Glue Soak from top path hurts against lower layers, so we’ve increased the base amount of layers glued by Strike & Storm so that it won’t expire on non-MOABs so quickly. Additional changes are a follow up reduction to The Bloon Solver’s price and a small increase to MOAB Glue’s price due to dominance in conjunction with MOAB Press.
  • 5xx The Bloon Solver price reduced from 24000 to 22000
  • 040 Glue Strike ability layers glued increased from 3 to 6
  • 050 Glue Storm ability layers glued increased from 3 to 9
  • xx3 MOAB Glue price increased from 3200 to 3400
Sniper Monkey
Trading off rate of fire for shrapnel crosspath doesn’t work well for Maim MOAB as it’s all about being a stall tower, so instead of focussing on a damage increase here the shrapnel will now apply the benefits of the sniper’s stun & debuff to turn this crosspath choice into a question of preference in grouping vs single target. Bouncing Bullet has also had its shrapnel pierce increased as it was the only T3 sniper that did not have 3 pierce shrapnel.
  • 420 Maim MOAB shrapnel fragments now also benefit from stun
  • 520 Cripple MOAB shrapnel fragments now also benefit from stun and debuff
  • 030 Shrapnel pierce increased from 2 to 3
Monkey Sub
Ballistic Missile previously had far too much attack speed added into the crosspath and was rebalanced for parity, but the overall performance loss from this was too much. Better balance will come from the base rate of Ballistic Missile itself.

Monkey Buccaneer
Most of the early Buccaneer’s strength comes from grapes, so to make it a little easier to start we’ve moved some cost from the base tower into Grape Shot. On that same note, we’ve piled on a bunch of bonus power to T5 Grape Shot to give it a boost against super ceramics.

Monkey Ace
While Pineapples are never the star of the show, the amount of pierce they have is completely unnecessary for their usage window and has only led to balance problems for Bombing Run, specifically in races. This high amount of pierce has been more evenly spread through higher tiers & crosspath. Flying Fortress has also been reduced in price because, while achievable, it doesn’t match well with freeplay progress.

A little more buffing of underused crosspath
  • 013 Bigger Jets now allows MOAB Shove to push back faster
    • MOAB speed reduced further from -0.33 -> -0.44
    • BFB speed reduced further from 0 -> -0.11
    • ZOMG speed reduced further from 0.33 -> 0.22
Mortar Monkey
We felt like we set up the math quite well with Mortar changes last update, but regardless of this missed shots due to inaccuracy vs. attack speed turned out to be unpopular and impacted the middle path too severely. Fortunately this change led to the community finding some critical bugs in the middle path upgrades there since Mortar’s release! That said, since low tier Mortars were never powerful we chose to leave the speed buff from last update but revert the accuracy nerf. Additionally mid-path T5 mortar has had all of its T3 damage bonuses increased to better reflect its position as a Tier 5.
  • 000 Base accuracy increased from 30 back to 18
  • x5x Pop and Awe ceramic damage bonus increased from 3 to 12
  • x5x Pop and Awe Lead damage bonus increased from 1 to 4
  • x5x Pop and Awe Fortified damage bonus increased from 1 to 4

Wizard Monkey
Some changes have been made to wall of fire to improve race balance in particular
  • x2x Wall of Fire attack begins on cooldown when the upgrade is purchased
  • x2x Wall of Fire now saves the time remaining on it’s attack cooldown
  • x2x Wall of Fire attack projectiles are removed when the tower is sold
Super Monkey
The projectile count of the current multitudes of mini avatars spawned by boosted temples in freeplay contributes to performance decay, so we’ve capped the spawn rate of these mini avatars. Additionally middle path has received some basic buffs with Robo-Monkey feeling unbalanced for the high price and difficult crosspathing, and Tech Terror not keeping up with other towers that perform a similar role.
  • 4xx and 5xx mini avatar spawn rate is no longer increased by attack rate buffs
  • x3x Robo Monkey price reduced from 9000 to 7000
  • x4x Tech Terror ability cooldown reduced from 60 to 45s
Alchemist
While the middle path T5 gets some use, T4 Transforming Tonic does not perform well for the low pierce amount so pierce has been increased.

Druid
Superstorm has been adjusted with a new feature to grant it a method of dealing continuous damage to the targets that it blows backwards. We know many of you will feel this needs much more work but please be patient as we will come back to it.
  • 5xx Superstorm’s Storm now spawns Ball Lightnings in a 180 degree arc in front of it every second until the storm expires
Spike Factory
We quite liked how the lifespan changes for xx1 spikes went previously, though this still wasn’t enough to make the path competitive and increasing this number further wouldn’t have much of an impact since most earlier rounds aren’t long enough. Spiked Balls strats have also felt too strong compared to higher tiers on top path, so touching on all of these issues slightly the base lifespan of spikes has been reduced, ceramic bonus increased on 4xx, and a new bonus added to 5xx. We have also made changes to give more purpose to 042 Spike Storm and allowed x5x Carpet of Spikes to save its cooldown so it is no longer required to avoid saving to be used in reliable strategies.
  • 000 Base projectile lifespan reduced from 70 to 50s
  • xx1 Long Reach lifespan remains at 100s
  • 1xx Bigger Stacks price increased from 600 to 800
  • 2xx White Hot Spikes price reduced from 800 to 600
  • 4xx Spiked Mines ceramic damage increased from 3 to 6
  • 5xx Super Mines each spike of each mine now triggers a smaller explosion
    • Radius 20

  • 042 Spike Storm targets only active paths (ie. on Bloody Puddles)

Monkey Village
Call to Arms has never had enough uptime for the small amount of space that it benefits.
  • x4x Call to Arms ability cooldown reduced from 60 to 45s
Engineer
Some big buffs to Bloon Trap so it can now be used more effectively
  • xx4 Bloon Trap can now spawn multiple traps per round! with a cooldown of 20s
  • xx4 Bloon Trap is still limited to 1 at a time per Engineer, this cooldown begins when a trap is placed rather than when it expires, so you can chain 2 together rapidly
  • 2x4 Faster Engineering reduces this Bloon Trap cooldown from 20s -> 16
  • xx5 XXXL Trap will cooldown at 1/6th of the rate of the standard Bloon Trap
  • Note: Bloon Trap still has a minimum deploy time of 2.8s if it has already been 20s
Gwendolin
Gwendolin’s Heat it Up! attack/buff has been sitting in a weird spot where it would benefit from attack speed but does not because of the cooldown which prevents it ever having full uptime. This rework makes her have a roughly similar uptime at all levels without being buffed, however she will now benefit properly with increased uptime depending on any rate modifiers applied to her. A fully juiced Gwendolin around level 15 or 18 should now be capable of achieving 100% buff uptime
  • Level 4 Heat it up! cooldown reduced from 15s to 4.5s
  • Level 4 Heat it up! Shots required to trigger has been scaled up to her match her innate attack rate at all levels
Ezili
Targeting priorities set to manual instead of hard coded to allow more possibilities & precise player control
  • Level 10 MOAB Hex initial target will now follow Ezili’s priority instead of Strong
  • Level 10 MOAB Hex jump target will now follow Ezili’s priority instead of Close
Adora
Adora’s level 7 ability served little purpose once she reached level 20, to solve this and also give her a small overall buff we have applied an extra bonus when sacrifice is used.
  • Level 7 for 10 seconds Blood Sacrifice now also increases radius of Adora & all Sun Avatars in radius by 10%
  • Level 7 for 10 seconds Blood Sacrifice now also increases attack speed of Adora & all Sun Avatars in radius by 10%
Monkey Knowledge - Ability Mastery
It should still be pretty crazy, but the previous state of complete 100% uptime of some level 3 buffs without any additionally applied cooldown buffs required was a little much

Good evening, new yearlings! 2021 is fast approaching with a flurry of new furniture and creatures to net in the wintry wilds around the campsite! Unpacking the contents of this update was a huge team effort, so big thanks to JT, MrPoptart, danc, Halcyon, and else everyone who took screenshots, tested creatures, and kept track of what was what.

  • Version Codes
    • v4.0.1 was 378b1, v4.0.2 is 746b5.
    • An app version with bug fixes (4.0.2) was released on December 17th. Today’s update is a client-side update that does not require downloading a new version of the app aside from the said Dec 17 update.
  • New Creatures
    • Ghoulish groupers and eerie insects make up some of the new species you might spot around the island, river, or beach as of today in Pocket Camp. Keep an eye out for many familiar faces as well as the “giant stag beetle” who, while familiar, seems to be an alternate dimension form of the “giant stag” that has arrived by some cosmic accident. While we’re long used to the age-old conflict between the olive flounder and dab, this is something more disturbing, and I wouldn’t keep both in my inventory if I was superstitious. The river is flush with high-rewarding fish, but finds like the Atlantic mackerel and silver pomfret might be better thrown back in the water. And if you’re one to shy away from a big hug from a snow crab, make sure not to fall asleep at the reel!

  • Retiring Creatures
    • It’s already time to say goodbye to many of our umber autumn amigos as they go off to live on the out-of-season fish(/bug) farm. They were brown. They were weird. Collectors will go bananas over them in a year. All there’s to say has been said.

  • January Terrain – “Mountaintop Sunrise”
    • Meditate in the face of a sunrise on the peak of a snow-dusted mountain with January’s new terrain set, comprised of a foreground, middle ground, background, fence, and sky. A sneak peek of this terrain’s visuals can be spotted in the image for Cranston’s “Rising” Cookie. This terrain set will be available for purchase soon, likely one day before January’s monthlong seasonal event begins.

  • January Seasonal Event – “Snowglobe Trotting”
    • Collect silverly snowglobes containing crystalline snowflakes in order to earn snowflake-themed rewards, including a snowflake hairpin, a snowy tree, and a beautiful castle snowglobe as the month’s grand prize. Completing January’s gardening event, fishing tourney, and scavenger hunt will yield 30 snowglobes each as a reward. Make sure to complete each event 100% to attain the grand prize! This monthlong campaign will begin in the next couple days, shortly after the end of December’s Merrymaking Gyroidite Scavenger Hunt.

  • January Gardening Event – “Hanafuda Housewarming”
    • Starting the new year with a throwback the origins of the Nintendo company itself, Pocket Camp is celebrating with a furniture set inspired by the traditional Japanese colorful playing cards. (Thanks for catching this, Lady XIII from Discord!) Planting papery flowers will attract some artfully themed butterflies, which you can swipe and swap with your friends. Use the furnishings to set up an evening of playing cards and relaxing with your favorite animal pals while ringing in the new year. Completing this event in full will yield 30 snowglobes as part of January’s monthlong campaign. The card-gardening begins in a couple days with the beginning of the month’s event.

  • Cranston’s “Rising” Cookie
    • With his species approaching the verge of extinction, Cranston looks for wisdom to the towering temples of a distant mountain range. Among scarlet shrines and perching statues of his kind, perhaps the knowledge of generations past holds answers for what the future means for a crested ibis like Cranston. Unique pieces such as the cloud seat, radiant sun headpiece (tech. a back item), and photorealistic bird figurine make some of the mysteries to be found in this excursive cookie, which will likely release in the next few days, likely one day after the beginning of January’s monthly event.

    • Draw a new hand with January’s new brilliant kimono collection, including wigs, zori, earrings, and oilpaper umbrellas.   • January Wall and Floor Collection
    • Restore yourself during the frost of January in a zen parlor or a reflective ice palace with several new designs to decorate your home, as well as some returning designs from New Leaf.       • A teaser sprite for January’s second original cookie. Referencing the Twitter teaser image, this cookie contains furnishings for a beautiful ice palace. The mascot and release window for this cookie will be available in January’s monthly schedule.
      • A snowman Gyroidite as a teaser sprite for January’s scavenger hunt. Referencing the Twitter teaser image, this tourney will likely offer various snowman designs as craftable rewards.
      • A teaser sprite for January’s second clothing collection. Referencing the Twitter teaser image, this collection appears to include many ice-blue designs for winter.
      • A 2021 balloon and zodiac ox to celebrate the new year, likely gifts for all (free through inbox or log-in bonus).
      • A sprite for a golden scarab beetle, possibly for a future goals event between January’s gardening event and fishing tourney.
      • A new gift type different from those offered in monthly rewards, as well as four decorative panels reading four different types of luck (Thanks Sani from the ACPC Discord for pointing this out!). It’s possible that these items are connected as with December’s Season’s Greetings Gift event, with players sending each other fortunes to celebrate the new year.
