Lockdown 3.0 Things to do, plus help and support.

Disclaimer I want to thank everyone for the gilds, replies and suggestions. I just do not have time to reply to everyone, but I am reading everything. I am not sure how much bigger the thread can be, I already typed this but it vanished so I think I'm at the limit. I will try to keep updating, but I don't expect the thread to be up top for much longer and will likely vanish soon, so if you need anything save it.
Yes, it's hard, it sucks, it's depressing. It is something we all have to do if you want to see this virus go. Everyone knows the deal, too many think they're the exception but no one is. However, staying home is hard so maybe I can help at least one or two people with some incentives. I'll try to give links to some things that can help cure the boredom, and some support if you need it.
Most of this might be obvious to some, some might not even have internet and of course, money is a big issue, so I'll try to give some suggestions:
For streaming and on demand things such as Netflix et al, don't forget you can subscribe for free for your first month. This goes for most things in the list. If you are worried about putting in your payment details and forgetting to cancel a month later, don't worry! You can sign up and immediately cancel and you still get your free month!
For people who don't have a smart TV, you can buy a cheap Amazon Fire TV stick or a Roku box. The Fire stick can go as low as £20 often for 1080p. It will drop to £30 for 4k.
I picked up a 4k Roku device for £18 on Amazon once. It's fast and snappy. currently it's going for £33 for the 4k version. Having both, there is little difference between the devices. NowTV also do their own roku powered device.
Subscription based streaming sites that all offer 2-4 weeks free for first timers
  • Netflix *According to comments the second month is free.
  • Amazon Prime You can either get Amazon video on its own, or take prime with other benefits. I strongly urge those who use Amazon for buying off their store front to use [https://smile.amazon.co.uk/] as there is literally no difference except everything you buy amazon donates to a charity of your choice.
  • Now TV (I believe it's 7 days)
  • Disney+
  • Britbox
  • Amazon channels. I believe you can get all these individually but Amazon offers them as channels bound to your prime account, and they are again either free for a couple weeks (again, take them, cancel instantly) or very cheap. I recently subscribed to Starzplay for £1 for 3 months. It has some good shows on it like Fringe, doom patrol. It also has channels like Curiosity stream and shudder
If you have not subscribed to the any of the above, you can get a few months of free TV by signing up and cancelling instantly. I suggest waiting at least 5 minutes just to let it go through the system.
Some tips for Now TV. IF you already have a subscription, I've noticed you can get it cheaper by cancelling. When you cancel they will beg you to stay. Select "I can not afford it this month" and they should beg again, telling you what shows they have. If you say you still want to cancel, they'll beg one last time and offer you the subscription for cheaper. This won't work every month, but I've noticed they'll always offer it the first time, then again after a couple months. If you're subscribed to both films and entertainment do the most expensive one as it may not work both times (but it might!). You can also pick up passes from storefronts a lot cheaper sometimes, before I could pick one up on Amazon for £3 but, they seem to have cracked down on it. If you shop around (or if anyone knows of a legitimate store please let me know) you might be able to pick it up cheaper. Lastly, check their website and under your account they should have an "offers for you" section.
Completely free TV
If you do have a smart TV and/or device, there are some good free streaming apps. One I really love is called PlutoTV. I know this is on both Roku and the fire stick, as well as Ps4/Ps5 and xbox.
Pluto offers a bunch of live channels and now an on demand section, all for free. It has adverts but they are actually short (shorter than regular TV and fewer of them). Some of the channels are just streaming certain shows like Mythbusters 24/7 or Dog the bounty hunter, but it has a lot of old movie channels as well as 24/7 kickboxing and MMA. It also has a 24/7 poker channel I quite like.
Another one I like is Rakuten Viki however, I haven't watched it for a while as my fire stick is only 1080p and I have too many other devices attached. I believe it is on Roku but you have to jump through some hoops and have an account. The last I checked on the fire stick you did not. Viki offers a metric ton of Asian shows, mainly from Japan and South Korea but it does have chinese, Malaysian etc. It has subtitles. Some Japanese shows are hysterical, albeit weird.
Roku also do their own channels with free shows if you own a device.
For those who don't have a smart TV or a Streaming device, you can set up your own computer as a dedicated streaming device with Plex. It's been a while since I used it but I believe it now also offers free movies and TV.
Anime
If you are into Anime there is
The first 2 are free to watch, or offer premium without ads which you can have a trial with. Crunchyroll is the better of the two with more original choice for Japanese voice and subs, while Funimation has more Dubs. I don't believe HiDive is free to watch but you do get a 2 week trial. These are more exclusives than the previous two.
PC Centric software
If you are a gamer or like Audiobooks or anything that uses computers for things like music making, programming or graphic design
Humble Bundle offers, as per the name, bundles. A long running site that got bought out by IGN. It offers both single items and bundles you can buy individually/as a pack while also offering a separate monthly subscription for around £8-9. The subscription gives you 12 games on average per month. That's the simplest explanation but it changes somewhat as sometimes you get to pick 10 out of 14 games, or get all 12.
Humble bundle offers more than just games though. Every Tuesday they bring a new bundle of games, while Thursday (I "think) a new bundle of books. They very often have books from the Black Library giving you a ton of Warhammer books. Sometimes it's standard E-books, other times it's audiobooks. A few times a year they do bundles for graphic design, a typical bundle would include programs like Paintshop Pro Corel Painter etc, They usually go for £0.76 for tier 1 up to around £18 for tier 3, which would include 4-6 full titles with 10+ addons. They also often have Music making bundles or video editing software as well as Programming or video game development.
The bundles change often, they usually have around 11 bundles at a time that last for 20 days. Sometimes it's trash but they do often have some very good deals.
Fanatical offers the same as humble bundle except usually not as high quality, but sometimes they do have some incredible deals, and they are very very cheap.
Both humble and fanatical are safe, trusted and been around a long time, and they are NOT grey market key sites. They work with the publishers and developers. You can buy games both old and new for a lot cheaper than you would most other places. Unless it states otherwise, keys are usually for steam.
**BOTH HB and Fanatical (HB much more common) offer free games fairly often. The catch is linking your steam account to them (at least HB). It is safe however.
IndieGala is another site like above. Except, these are much much lower quality. However, they offer a metric ton of free games. Quality is low but it is legitimate, and a lot of free stuff.
Game Store Fronts
  • Steam This one is so obvious I didn't add it, but apparently many want me to. It is the best out there, and you can find almost everything, with fantastic deals.
  • Greenmangaming offers games cheaply. Again, not a grey market site (which are legal but unethical) and they sometimes do bundles.
  • GoG (Good old games) is a DRM free site run by CDPR, the makers of the Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk. They offer you games quite cheap and not needing DRM (such as Steam, Uplay etc which is less invasive versions of dodgy DRM from the olden days).
  • Epic Games Despite the controversy whether you care about their rivalry with valve, they offer free games ever week. Without ever having bought anything I have gained over 170 games. literally. Good games for the most part. They often give you £10 coupons as well.
  • Twitch Everyone knows twitch, but if you don't, it's a streaming service for watching gamers and girls with low cut tops accidentally bending over in front of the game. However, if you're signed up to prime, you get free games each month (and randomly between the set bunch).
  • Playstation Store Currently has January sales. Currently the free games for PS+ are for PS4: Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Greedfall. For the Ps5 it is Maneater
  • Games with Gold Bleed 2 and the King of Fighters XIII is available until Janurary 15th whilst little Nightmares is available until January 31st.
Gaming Subscriptions
Like the TV versions, you can sign up to these for a free trial (or very cheap). If you do sign up to only one at a time, it should keep you busy for a few months
  • Xbox Game Pass You can do this on both/either an Xbox or PC. If you sign up to the regular one, you can get a month (maybe three!) for £1. After you have done that, you can sign up to the premium version for 3 months at £1 a month. Most people know game pass, but you can download a large selection of games for free. The premium version gives you games with gold, allowing you to keep the games forever (but can only play with a subscription)
  • Ubisoft+ I'm not 100% sure if you get a trial or not. This allows a large collection of Ubisoft titles to play for £12.99 a month. Quite expensive but good if you like Ubisoft titles I guess.
  • EA Play EA's version. Goes by a ton of names I think, EA Access, EA Play, Origin Access etc etc. There's a couple of versions of this, and it is across all platforms (PS4/5, Xbox, PC) but not sure about the switch. I "think" the premium allows you to play on all platforms, while the cheaper one on a single platform, but I may be mistaken.
  • PS Now a once terrible service that is now actually very good. Allows you to download some Ps4 games to your PS4/5 and lets you stream a massive amount of Ps2/3/4 to your PC or playstation.
There's more like nvidia's service but you need the Shield device which is quite expensive. I'll leave it at that.
Audiobooks & Ebooks
  • Audible Not sure what the current deal is but if you are a prime member you can sign up for a trial and get a free Audiobook each month for 3 months. Some warhammer books are 48 hours long, 3 of those gives you a good 100+ hours of listening!
  • Comixology Another Amazon company, but lets you download some free comics I believe.
  • Marvel Unlimited No experience with this. ItFuckingWont wanted me to add it. A subscription service for Marvel.
Education
  • Sign Language BSL here No experience myself, suggested by n21brown and asked for a few times. Didn't know SL was so popular! Listed as "Pay what you can"
  • BBC's Bitesize here is apparently good for home learning. Again, no personal experience.
If you need some spare change
Okay, I don't generally bother with it, but maybe some of this could be useful to you. These are NOT a quick way to make a fortune. These are small things you can do over time for a bit of pocket change
  • If you have prime you can get a FREE FIVE POUND GIFT CARD by literally just streaming a song from Amazon music (which is included in prime) here is the details According to the comments it's only for select people, but it's worth trying If the link doesn't work for you just google "Amazon £5 coupon music"
  • Now, these sorts of sites have been around for years, I haven't used any other than talkInsights which I must have signed up to 10-15 years ago. Basically they send you surveys and you answer them. They are confidential and don't ask for personal details in the survey. You need 2000 points and you get £20. During the pandemic they've slowed down but I probably get around £40 a year. Not much I know, but it's an email followed by a quick survey ticking boxes. Depending on your answer sometimes you get screened out, I'm not telling you to lie but just be consistent with your answers and you should be able to work out how to not get screened. Some emails are only worth 20 points, others 200. It's slow to get to the 2000 but very quick to just answer a few questions.
  • Apparently beermoneyuk is a good sub to make some pocket change with.
  • There is also matched betting. I have never done this, I don't have the patience but from what I've read, it's legitimate, it works and you can make a fair amount of cash from it so long as you do it correctly, and there's a ton of guides. I mention this because people stuck at home could get into it and as long as you're careful (I.E not entering in the wrong numbers) it's risk free AND it pisses off the betting shops. It seems people in comments have had success with it. Disclaimer A couple have complained about gambling. This arguably is not gambling. If you are susceptible to addiction do not do it. However, it's argued that there is no fun or buzz in this, and it's a very tedious and time consuming thing. Others argue you can't make the same money anymore (People were making thousands, now only hundreds if that). It's risk free providing you know what you're doing, the risks are user error, such as entering the wrong numbers. Someone pointed out that due to the lockdown, bets could potentially be cancelled due to sport stopping. So use on a side of caution. We're (mainly) adults so I'll leave it up just because this doesn't have the excitement of regular gambling.
  • Microsoft Rewards This is an easy way to make pocket change doing very little. Most people have a MS account. The rewards program offers you numerous ways to grab points, by playing free to play games, answering small questions (you don't even need to answer most of the time, just open the link and shut it) and by using bing and searching on it. I've gotten 20k points JUST by answering questions over a couple months. There are many rewards but you can grab a £5 gift card for 6k for example, or a month of game pass (and AFAIK you can make points playing the games)
  • Google rewards Someone mentioned this in the comments. I have not used it, so can not give any input on it. Sounds similar to TalkInsights which I linked. Google states "Complete short surveys while standing in line, or waiting for a subway. Get rewarded with Google Play or PayPal credit for each one you complete. Topics include everything from opinion polls, to hotel reviews, to merchant satisfaction surveys. We’ll notify you when a survey is waiting."
That's it for now. I will try to update as I go along. A long post but I hope that it can help some of you with finding something good to do that's free, cheap or a bargain. I do suggest getting prime, especially since you get free music, free delivery, free TV and music and free video games each month. In fact, there's a ton of perks and I feel I've gotten way over the cost investment.
Hope it helps someone at least
PartTimeCrazy said if you bought an Apple product you get 3 free months of Apple Arcade and Apple TV free for a year
fakehunted is upset I didn't mention wanking. Tesco have 225 sheets of Tissue for £0.75!
tale_lost suggested Project Gutenberg for a collection of free E-Books
Learning Language
Unfortunately, I don't have time to check every link listed so I will link the comments:

HEALTH
I'm not a doctor! But if you're a smoker, something I strongly suggest is to quit. I struggled for years but in the first lockdown I quit, technically. I haven't had a cigarette since, however, I do that silly thing millennials do. I vape, but, it made quitting extremely easy. I would not have been able to do it if it wasn't for 88Vape They sell extremely cheap liquids at £1 each. You can find these in B&M but you can pick up 25 for £20 or buy your own mix.
Vitamin D deficiency has been said to be a big problem for the virus. I'd suggest (again, not a doctor!) that you pick some up. Tesco do a 3 for 2 deal. So you can pick up 270 tablets for £7.
If you are vulnerable you MIGHT be able to phone tesco and get put on their delivery saver list (currently it's paused but phoning may help. At the very least they might give you a priority slot. I did this for my mum, we didn't shop at Tesco but I phoned for her, and they put her on with no hassle, so she can always get a delivery.
HELP & ADVICE
The lockdown Rules.
Reasons to leave home include:
  • Work or volunteering where it is "unreasonable" to work from home. This includes work in someone else's home, such as that carried out by social workers, nannies, cleaners and tradespeople
  • Education, training, childcare and medical appointments and emergencies
  • Exercise outdoors (limited to once a day). This includes meeting one other person from another household in an open public space to exercise
  • Shopping for essentials such as food and medicine
  • Communal religious worship
  • Meeting your support or childcare bubble. Children can also move between separated parents Activities related to moving house
I want to add, if you are in danger you are also allowed (and must!) to get away from the situation for some reason, BBC seems to have missed this very important thing (or I am blind)
Support
FOR THOSE SHIELDING YOU CAN CONTACT THE ROYAL VOLUNTARY SERVICE. These people helped my mother with picking up her medicine from the chemist. They were very helpful and went out their way to keep in touch and do it immediately. (It's the only experience I have with them though)
_riotingpacifist wanted these links added, but I simply just don't have the time to vet and check all the suggestions here, so I will link as is:
Update:
Digital Art
These are Free
  • Krita Arguably the best in my opinion. It has a load of options, brushes and a decent UI. It works fantastic with a tablet.
  • Gimp This is a decent program but last I used, the UI was a pain, and it isn't so user friendly while misses features, but it works, and it is possible to do some incredible creations on it.
  • Medibang Paint This is slightly geared towards Comics and Manga. I really enjoy using this with my drawing Tablet. As far as I know, it also for regular tablets for Android/Ipad and is free.
You can pick up a drawing tablet on Amazon quite cheap these days! Small ones that are just a black slate such as the wacom ones are good but takes some practice to get use to, but very worth it if you can't afford a dedicated drawing tablet with a screen.
Office suit software
A couple of free applications for word processing, spreadsheets etc.
  • LibreOffice This has most the average user would need to write their own books or to work from home. There's not a huge amount of difference between the two I'm linking (since I last used anyway) so it's more for preference.
  • Open Office You can pick this up here and again, like above it's just preference.
Music Making
I'm going to direct to matthewharris806 for some links as all the programs I've used like Reason are expensive, or cheaper stuff in bundles such as Magix software.
Games development
D_Dad_Default gives some links for that here

Lockdown, things to do, help & advice.

Disclaimer I am posting this here because I got a message from the mods asking me to. I'm not from London so links aren't London centric (but hopefully still of help) and the main post is here so any updates will likely be there (I will try here but it's hard to keep up with the amount of suggestions)
Thanks.

How to Buy Bitcoins and Trade Cryptocurrencies

Since I have a lot of free time these days, and given all the latest news, I thought I'd put together a (hopefully useful) guide on how to get started when it comes to buying Bitcoin (or any other cryptocurrency really) and crypto trading in general. This community and Reddit in general have been very helpful for me, and this is my attempt at contributing with useful content.
With that said, if you have any suggestion please let me know and I'll add it to the post.
Obligatory disclaimer before getting started: there is no magic formula when it comes to making money, my goal is to raise awareness about cryptocurrency and somehow extern my thoughts. Therefore, I am not responsible for any loss you may experience, whether it is related to information provided in this post or not. You are responsible of what you do with your capital and I encourage you to do your own research before risking any money. Also, always be very suspicious of people telling you that a certain investment will for sure be profitable. I added my referral links and want to be completely transparent about it. If you don't feel like using them, that's completely fine.
With that out of the way, let's get started.

Why this post?

Despite the huge cryptocurrency market cap and all the talking on the news, I feel like getting started with cryptocurrency is still not very intuitive for most people. Don't get me wrong, getting started is extremely easy but, despite the simplicity involved, the numerous alternatives available for this kind of investment may often be overwhelming. This guide wants to guide any newcomer step-by-step.

Isn't it too late to buy cryptocurrency?

No, it’s not too late to invest in cryptocurrency. I know, it would have been great if you (and I) bought some Bitcoin back in 2011. However, this doesn’t mean it’s not worth it to buy some now, especially considering the likely economic recession that will follow the COVID-19 pandemic (and that is already going on for that matter). Consider that, at the time of writing, the cryptocurrency market is worth about 530 billion dollars. New cryptocurrencies are constantly being introduced on the market, each one with its own peculiarities: from faster transactions to higher security, from coins focused on anonymity to coins that aim to solve real-world problems.

What is so special about cryptocurrencies anyway?

A complete description of the advantages connected to cryptocurrency is out of scope, and I am sure you would find your answers in this subreddit and on the internet in general. From lower transaction fees and insant payments to the impossibility to reverse a transaction, the list is long. What I want to focus on here, however, are the two main reasons why I personally think cryptocurrency has the potential to revolutionize the economic world: blockchain technology and absence of a man-in-the-middle.

Blockchain 101

Despite the different peculiarities of each cryptocurrency, all of them have one thing in common: some sort of blockchain. A blockchain, as the name suggests, is a growing chain of blocks that are linked to each other. Every new block that gets added to the chain (usually in the form of a transaction) is permanently stored in the blockchain, and cannot be altered in any way.
Cryptocurrencies are just a small part of this extremely innovative technology, and other products such as video games or smart contracts can be built on top of a blockchain.
Think about the potential applications of this technology. Anything we currently use registers or lists to keep track of could virtually rely on a blockchain, and that would guarantee permanent storage of any information. From property registers (think about houses) to food supply chains, there are thousands of areas that would benefit - and are currently benefiting - from this technology.
What does all of this have to do with cryptocurrency? Whenever someone makes a blockchain, they need to create an incentive to make the whole system work and a way to reward its users (and miners). This is where cryptocurrency comes into play: blockchain needs some sort of token exchange in order to work.
While many cryptocurrencies' only job is to back a blockchain system, some of them are created with the clear goal of bringing being a better cryptocurrency for the market. Some reasons may include better anonymity, faster transactions, higher energy efficiency, and so on.

Absence of a man-in-the-middle

The absence of a third-party entity is by itself a great step forward. Think about some of the most successful services that were born in the last few years. Airbnb allows you to immediately get in touch with the property owner, no mediator. Uber allows you to directly contact a driver. When you send money in the form of cryptocurrency, you are letting the network do the job, not a bank. Everything is transparent and every transaction is kept track of.

Can cryptocurrency be used for payments?

Of course.
Unfortunately there is still a big misconception about this aspect, and many people believe that cryptocurrency is useless since it can't be spent. Wrong. First of all, even if it couldn’t be spent, it wouldn’t imply that Bitcoin has no value: crazy gains have been made in the past trading gold, but I’ve never seen anyone pretending to pay with gold at the grocery store.
Second of all, many businesses are accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as a form of payment, and the list just keeps growing. A few examples? * Overstock * Expedia * Microsoft * Wikipedia * AT&T * NewEgg * Shopify
The list could be as long as you want (Subway, Twitch, Playboy, KFC, Namecheap, you name it), just try to do a quick Google search.
And Amazon? While they don’t accept cryptocurrency payments directly (but hey, they don’t accept PayPal either), you can buy anything they sell by using Purse!

What if I want to go back to cash?

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can be converted to cash at any time either at a Bitcoin ATM or through Bitcoin exchanges (I highly suggest Coinbase).

How to invest in Bitcoin and/or trade cryptocurrencies

Having covered the basics, let’s get down to business.
Please remember: you should only invest as much as you are willing to lose. Gains in the cryptocurrency world can be huge, but the opposite can hold as well if you don’t make informed decisions. You definitely don’t want to lose more than you can afford to.
I decided to split this part into three main points: 1. Education 2. Buying Bitcoin (or any other crypto you may want to buy) 3. Trading
Let's first take care of the most important step: education.

Educate yourself to make informed decisions

Make sure you educate yourself, you should learn the basics before starting to trade cryptocurrency. The good things about cryptocurrency is that you don’t need to start out with $10k in order to see some profits and anyone can get started with as little as a few hundred dollars. This, however, does not mean it’s a game, and you should never take cryptocurrency trading as a gambling session. Please, be prepared before trading your assets.

Best resources

There are many books and online resources out there covering trading, forex markets, technical analysis and more. The more you learn and the wider your knowledge of the subject is, the better. With that said, you don't have to read all the books I am suggesting. These are just some resources that I was impressed with and you can lookup if you want to.
Technical analysis: * Charting and Technical Analysis is a very good general book on technical analysis for beginners. * How to Day Trade for a Living is great if you are considering day trading, but you will likely find some useful tips even if you don’t intend to day trade. * How To Swing Trade is possibly one of my favorite books on the subject. If you are not going to day trade and prefer to keep your positions for days or weeks, this is the book for you. * School of Pipsology is a well-organized online course. Taking the whole course might take a while and be overwhelming, you most likely won’t need all of the information provided. * Advanced Techniques in Day Trading is a little more advanced but I found it very good. * Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets is a huge book and probably more academically-oriented, but very good and complete nonetheless.
Psychology (don't underestimate this aspect): * The Disciplined Trader * Trading in the Zone
These last two books don't need a description (just look at the reviews) and will take your trading game to another level. Trading is probably 90% psychology, do not underestimate this aspect if you want to be successful.
Whatever book/site/video you choose to rely upon for your education, the important thing is to get to a point where you can understand the basics of charting before you start dealing with money. At first, all the information may seem a little overwhelming but, after a while, you will get used to different types of candles, volume patterns, moving averages and even more.

Understand how you would like to invest

There are two main types of investors in the cryptocurrency world: * Those who buy a BTC (or ETH, or any cryptocurrency) and keep it, waiting for its value to grow over time. * Those who buy and sell crypto in order to boost their BTC holdings (this is what I suggest you look into if you can dedicate some time to crypto trading, but it's not for everyone).
In the first case, to keep everything simple, let’s say you are confident that BTC price will grow. So you buy 1 BTC at \$10,000 and sell it later for \$20,000: the price of BTC has doubled, you made a +100% profit. Easy as that.
In the second case let's say you buy the same BTC at \$10,000 and start trading BTC with other cryptocurrencies (Litecoin, Ripple, Stellar, there are thousands) that increase their value against BTC. After a while, having these altcoins increased in value against BTC, you don’t have 1 BTC anymore. In fact, you may end up having 1.5 BTC that you can still sell for \$20,000 each, for a total of \$30,000. You obviously made more money in this case.
The second strategy can be extremely profitable if you buy at the right time (partnerships announcements, technological advancements in the underlying technology, and so on), and spikes of 100% in a short time are not uncommon for smaller market cap cryptocurrencies. Of course, the opposite hold as well, so be extremely careful when buying and only trade if you think there is a underlying reason for doing so, not just because you feel like it. Again: education and discipline are key.

Focus on your BTC holdings, don’t reason in USD value

With reference to the example above, it should be clear how important it is to focus on how much Bitcoin you have, not how many USD it is currently worth. Focusing solely on USD is an error a lot of people make, but try to think about it this way. Just like above, you buy 1 BTC for \$10,000 and start investing in altcoins, you lose some of the BTC you had and end up having 0.8 BTC. Now you sell your BTC (again for $20,000 each) and get \$16,000. Obviously you made a \$6000 profit, which is still a nice 60% return, but you would have been better off just holding your initial 1 BTC.

Buying Bitcoin (or any other cryptocurrency)

In order to send and receive cryptocurrencies, you need a wallet. I strongly suggest you use Coinbase to buy, since it is the most used and the safest website when it comes to buying cryptocurrencies. If you buy through this referral link, you get \$10 more if you buy at least \$100 within 180 days of opening your online account.
Beside BTC, you can choose to buy some other cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) or Bitcoin Cash (BCH). They accept all kinds of cards and you can also link your bank account if you wish to do so, this allows you to convert your cryptocurrency holdings back to USD (or EUR and many other currencies) and have it deposited in your bank account directly.
The buying process is straightforward and the instructions on the website are very clear. Once you have verified your account, you only need to choose how much BTC to buy and that’s it.
The general advice in the cryptocurrency community is to start by investing about \$200-\$300 in order to be able to see some gains right away, but of course it is up to you to choose how much you want to invest. You can invest thousands of dollars as well as $20 or lower, your call.
Keep in mind that, if you invest too little, you may end up not reaching the minimum trading amount needed to buy other cryptocurrencies.
Once again: never risk more than you are willing to lose.

How to trade cryptocurrencies

In order to trade different cryptocurrencies, you need to move your funds to an exchange. I highly suggest Binance, which now has the highest trading volume among the cryptocurrency exchanges. If you sign up using this link, you will get a 5% back on every commission on the website, which really adds up over time.
Once you have your cryptocurrency on Coinbase and have an exchange account, you can transfer your holdings from one site to the other.
On Binance (the process is similar for other exchanges as well) navigate to Wallet -> Spot Wallet and find the cryptocurrency you bought on Coinbase. If you bought BTC on Coinbase, look for BTC and click on Deposit, otherwise choose the appropriate coin. You will be presented a Deposit Address which you need to copy.
Now move to Coinbase and click on Send, you only have to paste the address which you want to send money to (the one you copied on Binance): be very careful to paste the right address, or you may lose your money.
Done! Don’t worry if the transaction takes a while. BTC normally takes 10-30 minutes, but sometimes a few hours are needed due to the large amount of transactions. ETH and LTC transactions are usually faster, and you may want to buy one of them instead of BTC if you want your money on Binance quickly (or if you want to save on fees). Grab a cup of coffee and wait until your funds become available on Binance.
Now what? You have your money on Binance and can trade whatever cryptocurrency you wish. Just click on Markets and you will be presented with a huge selection of coins, from this page you can buy or sell each of them. Under the price chart of every pair you can see the Limit, Market and Stop-Limit tabs: * Limit: place a buy/sell order at the price you prefer (looking at the panes on the left – current sell and buy orders – may be helpful) * Market: you automatically buy/sell at the current most convenient market price * Stop-Limit: allows you to place conditional buy/sell orders
Ideally, you are looking for a low market cap coin which is still undervalued and you believe will become more successful in the future.
I suggest you always do your own research before choosing a coin to invest in, avoid buying impulsively or you will lose money. Also, don’t buy a cryptocurrency just because you read it or heard it somewhere. You may not lose money the first time but, eventually you will regret it. Don’t randomly pick a coin because its value is increasing. Again, it may work the first or the second time, but sooner or later you will regret it.
Finally, make sure to always place a stop loss. That way, even if the most unlikely and unexpected market change happens, an order will be placed for you even if you are sleeping. There’s really no reason not to place a stop loss.

Stay informed to be profitable

The following are some of the websites I personally use when looking for potentially profitable investments: * Coinmarketcap (all the alts you can possibly buy are listed here, along with market cap, volume, price and many other indicators) * Reddit * Bitcointalk * Trading View * Telegram channels * Twitter and some other dedicated forums
Be aware of people who try to make you invest in a particular cryptocurrency just because it may be advantageous for them. I can’t stress this point enough, make sure you do your own research.
When I am looking for a new potential cryptocurrency to invest in, I also like to visit the official website and check if the website looks professional or if it is just trying to create hype. Some questions you should look for answers to are: * What is the real value of the coin (why is it better than the other ones)? * What is the team behind the cryptocurrency? * What real problems does coin solve? * Is the supply limited? * Is there a whitepaper? * What about this project's roadmap? * ...and so on.
If I am confident about my research, and only at that point, I proceed with the trade.

Final considerations

I know I stressed these points way too many times, but you'd be surprised of how many people lose money in stupid ways.
This is my humble attempt at making cryptocurrency more accessible to everyone, hopefully someone will find it useful. Please let me know if I forgot anything, I'll be glad to credit your contribution.
Good luck and thanks for reading.

The games include slots, blackjack, roulette, baccarat, craps, and even video poker. The graphics are very smooth and attractive, so it is easy for players to make use of their PC to win. The same is true for the baccarat tables, where players can choose between multiple denominations.
To play at the casino, all you need to have is a valid email address. You will also need a valid credit card, or PayPal account. Jackpot City Casino Full Review

As part of an organization that has over 60 online casinos, Jackpot City was always going to provide a solid site with a certain level of professionalism. After all, it is one of the oldest online casinos, having been set up all the way back in 1998 when virtual gambling houses were only in their infancy.
Thankfully both the gameplay and the options available have moved on since the late 90s. That being said, it is definitely reassuring to users to know that the casino has a lasting quality which will see it hit its 20th birthday next year.

Jackpot City Bonus and Promotions

There is an incredible sign-up bonus worth up to $1600. This is a matched bonus of the first four deposits.
The welcome bonus is relatively difficult to release though, as players have to wager X50 the bonus before they can cash out.
There is also a loyalty bonus program, where players receive more points the more they play. These points then give players access to a host of extra offers, including deposit bonuses and the option to exchange points for cash.
Jackpot City also has a wide range of daily and weekly bonuses which change on a week-to-week basis.

Jackpot City Games and Software

There are over 200 games to choose from on this site, with Microgaming being the software of choice. The games include five different types of roulette, as well as several options in blackjack and poker for all you people who love skill-based games.
There are also more slots than you could shake a very big stick at! In general, the graphics are top-notch, so the sights and sounds should keep you entertained if the cash isn’t quite rolling in.
However, several online users have complained about a lack of variety in the gaming graphics – this is due at least in part to the fact that Microgaming supply each and every one of them.
It might be a good idea for the casino to get the likes of Real Time Gaming to provide at least a few slots and games to appease users who love variety.
Jackpot City also has a 97.4 percent average payout for their games, so your chances of getting lucky are very high.

Jackpot City Mobile Casino

Jackpot City’s mobile casino supplies all the slots and games from the site, but on smart devices. It is compatible with Android, Blackberry, iPhones, iPads and a range of other tablets and smartphones.
Generally speaking, reviews for the mobile offering have been positive, although some users have complained that it is not as quick as the non-mobile version. We also noticed this issue and although it wasn’t massively hampering to our enjoyment, it did put a slight damper on the gameplay.
That being said, the user-ability seems to be excellent, with no timely download required – you simply hop on the website and play instantly. This is a definite advantage as it doesn’t take up valuable space in the memory of your mobile device.

Jackpot City Customer Support

After visiting the site and playing on it for a short while, it was clear that this online casino offers much more than simple reliability though.
Jackpot City is part of Belle Rock Entertainment, who is renowned for the quality customer service they offer. That form is kept up with this offering, as Jackpot City has excellent user support available at the click of a button. Livechat and low-cost numbers are available for customers who have any issue, so no matter what your problem is, you should be able to find help.
  • 24/7 live online chat
  • 24/7 telephone support: 0800 1515 1516
  • email: [email protected]
  • FAQ pages

Jackpot City Banking Options

It’s also incredibly easy to do business on the site, with a whole range of ways to securely deposit and withdraw funds. These, include Visa, MasterCard, Click2Pay, NETeller, MoneyBookers, EziPay, Direct Bank Transfer, PaySafe Card, UKash, FirePay, Maestro, Solo, Delta, eCheck, InstaDebit, UseMyBank, and ACH.
Considering the wide range of available options, one would imagine that this isn’t the most secure of sites – however, that couldn’t be further from the truth. All transactions are protected by Proc-Cyber Services, who fight off fraud and hacking and give gamblers peace of mind.
One issue a few players have complained about is that Paypal isn’t included on the long list above. It is the online trading choice of many, so it would be no harm for Jackpot City to find a way to include it.
However, users have stated that the above options all work perfectly, so if you can utilize any of these offerings there shouldn’t be a problem.
Now you know that you can play on this casino without worry, let’s have a look at what it has on offer with its games and bonuses.

Conclusion

All-in-all, Jackpot City is a quality online offering for the gamer looking for a solid platform they can trust. Its games certainly aren’t revolutionary, but it does offer reliability and in this day and age, that is something to be savored and enjoyed.
There is definitely room for improvement with the mobile offering needing some development and the fact that it is doesn’t offer withdrawals through Paypal definitely grinding some people’s gears.
That being said, Jackpot City is unlikely to disappoint the vast majority of casino players who are looking for a little fun.
For a casino that has been around since 1998, it has definitely found a way to stay relevant and contemporary. Being part of a major casino group and association can’t have hurt its development and if it keeps on growing, we can only see Jackpot City going from strength to strength.

eBay DD Due Diligence, Coronavirus is about to reboot this stock to what it should have been worth years ago

*Authors note* Attempted to post this in WSB but it kept being rejected by the AUTOMOD because it said the title was too long. IDK what the issue is but I am posting it here if that is okay as I spent a lot of time on it. Apologies it was written in the voice of WSB. This is a great stock to buy as well so I think the people on this sub would appreciate the DD. I don't post here much, for those that don't know me I'm the one who posted a very in depth HUYA DD (Now taken down by the WSB mods I suspect because I made a post earnings update talking about some shenanigans) I sold my Huya 10/16 strikes for 800% profit last week. I will leave my options recommendations in the DD. I know Options are not a big thing here but TBH 1/15/21 $85 strikes are a very conservative investment. I have dysgraphia and dyslexia so my writing style can be brutal but the message should come across. *End Note*
eBay could SOON become pound for pound one of the most profitable enterprises outside of gambling and drugs.
TLDR
Bad Leadership at eBay for YEARS
Corona flips the script. Bull Case $180 Bear Case $220 Future Price Target maybe more. We will see how peoples mind changes when we see earnings.
BUY 11 – 101 – 1001 Shares Depending on Bankroll (I like shares on this one as I expect the company to pay dividends) X Multiples of 100 for future CC.
7/31 $80C (These look the juiciest RN)
(8/21 $90C if made available)
1/15/21 $85C
Ebay is an online auction house. Look up your local auction house and spend an evening or day at the Auction. It is fun and will help you understand why previous CEO’s tanked this awesome company with their stupidity. Hammering a Diamond into a square hole.
Worked for an auction house 4 years. If you go to a well run local auction you will see diverse people, successful auction houses have a customer makeup like this:
30% Hustlers and People involved with the auctions (Consignees etc)
20% Rich people (Rich people love auctions and I’m not talking about Sotherbys I’m talking about a normal sized city weekly auction there will be lots of rich people there)
40% Normal people that either like the thrill or value seekers.
10% Poor People.
This is important when we talk about bad CEO decisions. You have to know your audience.
Ebay started out with this dude selling a broken laser printer, Pierre Omidayer. It grew quickly and he brought in professional help. This can be a good thing as founders can get in the way of growth. In 1998 Meg Whitman was hired to be CEO. Her tenure was unimpressive and she was responsible for the first of two massive blunders that decapitated eBay growth.
Ebay was growing and the internet was starting to get widespread use. By the early 2000s people started to talk about WEB 2.0 and for some reason certain people thought that WEB 2.0 meant being fancy. Ebay did a massive redesign that was hated by most people. Broadband internet was in it’s infancy and the focus on form over function was frustrating for low bandwidth users as the fanciness was more complicated and took longer to load. Additionally it stunted the pathway that would eventually appear for mobile growth. The remnants of this design linger today.
Screen Cap of the AOLfication of eBay late 2003 I believe one of the big problems was rendering the menus in AJAX or something similar, very slow to load in that era
Here we can see the failure in line graph form, (These things lag) eBay share price got hammered. One the reasons for the hammering was lackluster earnings, many ebay users attribute this to the redesign failure as it turned off existing and new customers.
Link to image as it loos like this sub doesn't allow embeded images
Project Ugly-ify and Slow-ify eBay looks to have lopped off growth and momentum for the share price. Meg Whitmans tenure at ebay neutered growth.
One could blame Whitman for doing a lot of damage to eBay growth but she will largely be forgotten after you learn about the FLAMING DUMPSTER FIRE OF A CEO that is John Donahoe. In 2008 eBay hired Donahoe to be CEO. This could possibly be the worst hire in the history of all hires.
Don’t take my word for it. In 2014 Carl Icahn said eBay was the worst run company he had ever seen.
Carl Icahn says eBay is the worst run company he has ever seen
Donahoe had series after series of bad decision. He basically went to war with small and medium sellers (eBay’s actual bread and butter customers) and went to great lengths to attract large corporate clients. (The worst type of business for eBay) and run away his most profitable customers.
eBay is a market place.
Donahoe gave steep discounts in fees in order to attract corporate customers.
Companies like Target started to sell on eBays platform. (Most are now gone because within a few short years the internet was mature enough that they could start their own platforms)
Link to no longer existing eBay Target Store
Fee discounts to corporate customers angered existing sellers.
In early 2013 he implemented eBay’s search algorithm (Cassini I believe it was called) Previous to this Algo eBay was just a dumb search engine. With the Algo, eBay could control visibility of items on the site via built in preferences like Best Match. With this Donahoe is about to fire maybe 20% of his most profitable customers and give the Amazon marketplace a flood of new users. This idiot was trying to turn an auction house into the next Amazon. Instead he just put Amazon growth on steroids and shoots himself in the foot.
Cassini was used to ban eBay's customers. DROVES OF THEM
Donahoe decided that any problems on eBay were caused by sellers and he declared war on the people that were his customers.
Enter DSR. Detailed seller ratings was eBay implementation of strict guidelines for their sellers. DSR = 4 categories, each category was rated 1-5 with 5 being good. The system treated 1&2s as a failure.
For Example Customer was unhappy with an item they received for whatever reason. If someone rated a part of the transaction a 2 they would get a ding against their DSR. Problem is they treated all categories the same and the thresholds were very stringent.
For every 1000 transactions a seller had to have LESS than 10 dings in order to participate with Cassini without a search penalty. If the 10 threshold was crossed (Which is 98.9% or less good rating) they would be penalized in the search standing and go under probation. If they crossed 20/1000 or 97.9% or less positive approval rating they would BAN YOU FROM THE PLATFORM.
YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY John DONAHOE in is infinite wisdom decided that sellers with as high as a 97.9% positive transaction rating were disposable. I've NEVER SEEN SOMETHING SO STUPID IN MY LIFE.
I kid you not. Donahoe implemented a system where a 98.9% POSITIVE rating has a penalty and 97.9% positive is a ban. (Check the feedback on tons of Amazon marketplace sellers and you will see how ridiculous a threshold this was) What was even more ridiculous was in the beginning all categories were treated the same. For example Books were treated the same way as used women's clothing. Certain categories like womens clothing were DECIMATED by sellers being banned. People who had been on the platform for a decade and had say a 97% positive feedback selling USED WOMENS CLOTHING were banned left and right. It gets worse, remember how at 98.9% they would put you on probation? Some people called this the DEATH SPIRAL as if you were on probation the new “Best Match” system would lower your search standing. So if you were some poor schmuck who had sold 397 used pieces of womens clothing that year and just 4 of them were unhappy with the experience. You’d go on probation with little to no hope of anything other than the ban hammer. I’ve read many period era messageboard posts of long time sellers in probation trying to do EVERYTHING they could to raise their DSR to get out of probation but had zero visibility with the new algo, they were just left to wither on the vine hoping fruitlessly to turn things around. Most of them didn’t know it YET but eventually as people started putting the pieces together there was no chance of them escaping the Death Spiral. Gaggles of people spent MONTHS trying to save their accounts and eventually most of them realized they were screwed, there was nothing they could do about it because of the Algos. These sellers turned on ebay and took others with them.
If you notice during this time period AMAZON marketplace took off. Daddy Bezo’s had a flood of experienced online traders who simply shifted their operations to the less popular (at the time) and more expensive platform (at the time). It was either that or close shop. MANY CHOSE TO CLOSE SHOP.
The stupidity of all this was the Small and Medium sellers were the real money makers. eBay charges around a 9% fee with a cap of $250 per transaction.
Which is more profitable?
Target selling 50,000 items or 5,000 small to medium size sellers selling 100 items?
The answer is in the nature of marketplaces. Target sells to 5,000 customers and that is the end of the story. Small to medium sized sellers tend to keep the money in the marketplace. User A sells to user B for $100 User B can turn around and take that $100 and buy something he needs for himself or his business from user C, user C can then do the same. Wash, Rinse, Repeat. Target selling $100 is a one way street while Small to Medium users can be a continuous money carousel.
Donahoe in his infinite ignorance ran off many of his prime sellers. Ultimately sellers are your customers as they are the one’s who pay the fees. He jump started his competition whom he was stupidly trying to emulate. The important thing to understand about eBay is their product (An Auction) is easily scaleable and cheap to run
For example this Rolex
costs about the same to service this listing for a rug
The Target deal, illustrated with a bathroom rug
Chasing these corporate dollars was infinitely stupid.
  1. They gave these corporations steep discounts to use the platform
  2. The internet was maturing and we were just a few years from all these corporations having their own web presence
  3. Robbed dollars and eyeballs from your bread and butter. Auction and Store listings of small to medium sellers.
  4. Robs future revenue from carousel customers who return money to the marketplace and gives it to corporate customers who do not return dollars and are using the dollars they make off you to build the infrastructure to replace you. DING DING DING
This dude declared war on some of his best customers and tried to make eBay an ugly corporate shill and would eventually lead to the invasion of cheap Chinese stuff (eBay is now combating that)
We can see the results of his war on customers with this graph. eBay’s growth and revenue was decimated by this idiot and you can see the results once the earnings were reported (Which lagged the implementation of his stupidity)
War on customers displayed via line graph
Donohoe decapitated ebay right during what would have been it’s prime growth years and funneled those customers to his biggest competitor.
eBay can make far more with less because of the nature of it’s bread and butter customers. Many auction enthusiasts are high income types. eBay has better demographics financially than it’s competitors. There is even a fairly large industry of arbitrage where people sell items they source elsewhere (Like amazon) and basically drop ship them off as eBay sells because some stuff sells at a premium on eBay.
eBay CAN make more money per transaction compared to similar industries and can capture a significant amount of money to return within the marketplace. Similar to sales tax, that dollar can bounce around within the marketplace and eBay can take it’s 9% cut every time it switches hands.
Interesting side rabbit hole that arises during the Donahoe years. Donahoe was obsessed with attacking his own customers. This was commonly followed in an industry blog called AuctionWeb and then eventually named ecommercebytes. Run by the Steiner Couple
Here is an article their website published about them getting rid of sellers
They reported on all of eBay’s policy changes and basically called them out for being the giant window lickers they were. It ruffled a few feathers within the organization and now 6+ employees of eBay are being charged with crimes like harassment and stalking. Really a crazy story. DONAHOE is to blame for the policies and culture that allowed this to happen. He should go to jail over just what he did to the share price.
Crazy eBay Criminal Stalking
More Crazy eBay Harassment
During all of this foot shooting was when Carl Icahn said that eBay was THE WORST RUN COMPANY HE HAD EVER SEEN
One of the problems was the incestuous nature of eBay’s relationship with Paypal and the board members who presided over both. They basically spent a decade doing what was best for the board and not what was best for the Shareholders, employees and customers of eBay.
This is now not so much a problem because many of those relationships no longer exist. In the aftermath the other pieces have found increased market value and eBay has been suppressed due to it being stuck with all the burdens of the Donahoe administration and bad perception.
eBay should have been worth more as an individual piece and it’s was the one who took the financial hits.
PayPal Split in 2015
PayPal has a 113 P/E (I’m not saying this is the best metric to judge a company I’m just using it for illustration)
If eBay traded at Paypal P/E it would be worth $660
So what’s the catalyst to the eBay Rocket Ship that is about to take off?
CORONA. Corona is shaking up the whole economy and this shake up will jolt eBay to it’s full potential.
Alexa 90 days, even better at 140 and this growth is against the normal ebb of seasonal business
Over the past 4 months as far as I can tell eBay has increased traffic by as much as 18%+ which is pretty AMAZING for a very mature internet company. Even more amazing when you take into account that this is normally eBays slow period. Traffic is normally on the downturn. YOY I am curious how much busier they have been I'm guessing 45% YOY increase in traffic for the Month of May & June
April May June July are eBay’s 4 slowest months and the July 28th earnings will encompass 3 of those 4 months. During the slowest time of year eBay went from the mid 50’s to the lower 40’s for it’s spot in total Internet Traffic. A HUGE shift against the normal tide of business cycles.
Traffic for last 90 days. Up much more over entire Corona Period the increase looks more bigly when you view 150 days out
I've spent a few hours trawling eBay seller message boards. Within this quarter I have heard of increases in per transactions and a decrease in "Best Offers" which means better margins for sellers and more fees for eBay. I attribute this to Corona disrupting normal supply chains. eBay has been established for many years so boomers when they can’t find something are like "Oh Yeah EBAY." Many sellers report increased sells in business related categories and more aged inventory being sold as parts of the market shift towards online from some of the traditionally Bricks and Mortar industries. eBay has a very successful and well made app. Sellers are seeing increased usage amongst younger buyers/sellers whom are either bored with the lockdowns or looking for side income after losing their jobs. Remember when we mentioned 500 small sellers being worth more than one big corporate client? This will be obtained with an army of people using the app on their cell phones. Corona is going to get the attention of customers they lost over the years as they come back to the platform they remember, millennials and new users when they discover the well made app will come online. I've added the eBay App to my phone it is very good and has very customizable search features.
The Bear case for eBay is even more, if Corona turns out to be worse (It’s not) everything online just becomes more valuable.
So what is eBay worth?
Well it’s a better investment IMO than Paypal
eBay valued like Paypal is worth $660
Mercardo Libre is worth more than eBay (This is a Crime) as it is not even a top 1000 worldwide website while eBay is top 50. Plus it doesn’t even turn a profit. If you have any MELI stock sell half of it and buy eBay in addition to whatever you would buy if you didn't own MELI do the same for PayPal as well IMO.
If eBay was valued like MELI it would be worth Tesla numbers
Mercardo Libre has a 25% bigger market cap than eBay and doesn’t turn a profit. Ebay would be $76 a share just to be on par with MELI and it shouldn’t even be in the same ballpark.
Etsy is just outside of the Top 100 for web traffic and has a 181 P/E if eBay was trading like ETSY it would be trading at $1090 a share
If eBay was valued like ETSY it would trade for $1090
Channel Advisor is a company that grew out of offering services for eBay and while it works on multiple platforms it’s use was born from eBay and it has a 60 P/E
If trading like Channel Advisor it would be worth $363
Corona shifted a lot of users to the eBay marketplace because of busted supply chains. They now have an Okay website and an EXCELLENT APP. This increased use comes during the traditional low tide of eBay traffic and if eBay leans into the coming quarters their revenue is going to skyrocket. Corona was the catalysts to wake everybody up to what eBay could do and what it should be worth. EBAY should be one of the most profitable companies in the US economy with lots of room to improve the bottom line. It has all the pieces.
Like
Selling off some of the MANY side projects under the eBay umbrella
Streamlining Employment
Just this month they are integrating their own payment platform which should add 1-2% more to every sell which is a big deal considering that the average fee is around 9%. We are talking about maybe 20% added to revenue with not much changing. BIG MONEY
Winning back Small to Medium sellers and improving the per item transaction is eBay's ticket to tendie town. All the new growth they are experiencing is exactly what they need and want. They have a good App that can capitalize on the reboot.
eBay has ample room for growth and I suspect the income levels of buyers in the marketplace is higher than competitors like Amazon, Etsy, Overstock, Stitch Fix. eBaY has more people with money paying attention.
New CEO seems to be a bright guy. All he has to do is not SHOOT HIMSELF IN THE FOOT like the Donahoe CEO. If successful eBay will be on the moon mission of all moon missions
MOST UNDERVALUED TECH COMPANY IN AMERICA. As always my DMs are open and I do mercenary stuff. I have my position and I am currently buying shares with a goal of 303 shares before earnings.
I suspect this thing will have VERY little resistance upon takeoff
Little Resistance
BUY 11 – 101 – 1001 Shares Depending on Bankroll (I like shares on this one, I like the company and I'm expecting dividends) Once this rocket settles it is covered call selling time. (This is why you want multiples of 100
You should be at least a 80/20 Options/ Share split. Got to water the seed
Options
7/31 $80C
(8/21 $90C if ever made available)
1/15/21 $85C (Also I'd buy higher but they are not currently available, if BEFORE earnings Higher Strikes appear I would go up in strike A LOT. If earnings are up big this is ONLY THE BEGINNING as this is eBays SLOW PERIOD. Earnings for the fall will be CRAZY if Traffic continues to hold and if it has the normal Santa Claus Tax increase 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀

Sbi (sandbox interactive) appears to no longer have a handle on real money trading within their own game.

Some of you may or may not know of the company SBI (sandbox interactive, maker of the game 'Albion Online', a rather niche full loot open world pvp mmo that while having a rocky start, has survived and continues to grow steadily.
Those who remember the early days (and part of the reason why AO was widely panned on this subreddit) remember that the servers were under constant ddos attacks from gold farmers and real money traders after SBI went after them hard, breaking up their operations, refusing to cave into their demands etc.
While many longterm (and short term players) sometimes question the competence of sbi, most plays could agree that when it came to RMT, sbi was really on the ball at preventing it, using a variety of methods, such as setting up fake silver selling sites, putting staff members undercover etc.
Recently, one of the games well known streamers openly streamed himself getting a € 1500 'donation' From a member called 'emiashiro' but some context first:
Emiyashiro is leader of a russian alliance (name not important) who appears, in this screenshot, to be offering real money (against the game rules and tos, (In addition, SBI's host company Germany has strict rules against online gambling, and the like) for control of 4 ingame territories for the rest of the season. https://imgur.com/LVRJtxs
Syndic is the head Honcho of 'POE' a large alliance in the game. 'Kingmojo' (the streamer in the below video) is currently allied with Poe (they are fighting another alliance, name not important)
Could be doctored right? until you see this video (which was deleted, but someone managed to get a copy of:) https://streamable.com/u6s4kx
Not hard to put two and two together.
At the moment in time, None of the parties involved have had any investigation or actions taken against them, nor has SBI made any statement or response.
There now have been many accusations (some spurious, others with actual often submitted evidence) that real money trading actions have been getting more and more frequent and blatant.
*edit i also forgot to mention there have been numerous accusations of 'doxxing' from Multiple GMs, including in one case, a GuildMaster leaking another players bank details, address and SSN when the player wanted to leave the guild and 'expose him'
The concerned players of AO ask: when will SBI take a stand and enforce the rules of their own game?
another video has surfaced of this streamer reputedly getting paid 'RMT' money through paypal

Queen Bee Bingo Review

Queen Bee Bingo is a very yellow and black kind of place, as you’d expect of a site with such a name, save for the coloured bingo balls liberally dotted about the homepage. Its mascot, a queen bee with a honeycomb tiara, a honey wand dripping with the golden stuff and a full cleavage, looks ecstatic with delight, presumably because she’s just won another jackpot at her eponymous site. There are £70 of bingo tickets and 10 free spins for you to collect after signing up and making your first deposit at this shiny new site which launched in 2017.
The bee theme is one that’s maintained throughout, with plenty of puns based around sweet nectar and bee’s knees bingo. What’s the deal with the bee’s knees anyway and why are they so coveted? Whatever the origins of this saying, the 75 and 90-ball bingo games available here are the bee’s knees apparently. Queen Bee Bingo is a mobile-friendly site so all of its games should work on touchscreen devices as well as on desktop, and not just the bingo either – the same applies to the slots. The latest winners at the site are displayed in a scrolling ticker on the homepage, and there are some major sums cited there. Whether these jackpots were won playing slots or bingo is unclear, but regardless, their inclusion provides a degree of social proof.

About Queen Bee Bingo Casino

Queen Bee Bingo is operated by Cassava Enterprises, a company with a wealth of experience within the online gaming sector. The number of sites they operate is huge and probably numbers into the thousands. Bingo is their forte, but they also do stand alone casinos. Unfortunately, Cassava Enterprises tend to focus on quantity over quality and as a result the majority of their sites are riddled with the same faults time and time again. Most of these oversights don’t blight the playing experience, but they certainly don’t enhance it or help the various sites to stand out from one another.
Cassava Enterprises hold a gaming license that originates in Gibraltar, where they’re headquartered. They also hold a license issued by the Great Britain Gambling Commission to 888 UK Ltd, who are part of the 888 group, who are the owners of Cassava Enterprises. Within the EU, it’s Virtual Digital Services Limited who hold the required license that allows the site to market its games at EU-based players. For the most part though, these sites are designed for a British audience – a female British audience to be precise, for it’s reasonable to assume that a site named Queen Bee Bingo won’t be attracting too many blokes. If you require customer support, you can get hold of a team member by email, by instant chat or by calling a freephone UK number which is in operation from 9am to 1am.

Queen Bee Banking

There’s not a huge amount of deposit options available at Queen Bee Bingo, but there ought to be enough here to satisfy the sort of demographic this site is targeted at. Take your pick from Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Entropay, PayPal payments system and Paysafecard. In theory you can find out further information regarding deposits and withdrawals in the FAQ but in practice there’s very little of help here to go on. For example, the FAQ states that “We accepts [sic] most payment methods”, which they don’t. It’s also an indication of just how generic and lazy these Cassava Enterprises sites are that they copy everything verbatim from their other sites, right down to the same typos.
Trying to find out withdrawal options is even tougher, for Queen Bee Bingo expects players to jump through hoops just to ascertain the basics. It’s a mystery why all this can’t simply be placed in one easily retrievable place in the FAQ. Instead you have to scroll through the T&Cs, and ain’t nobody got time for that. On the plus side, the FAQ does reveal that the minimum deposit amount is £5 and that it can take up to eight working days for credit or debit card withdrawals to clear into your account. This is slower than some British bingo sites, but still quicker than Jumpman Gaming, who deserve an award for being the slowest clearing gaming operator on the web.

Bee Lucky Bonuses

On the face of it, a welcome offer of £70 of bingo tickets and 10 free spins sounds pretty good. When you start to scrutinise it however, Queen Bee Bingo’s welcome offer starts to look like one of the worst introductory offers on the web, matched only by all the other Cassava Enterprises sites churning out the same shoddy deal.
The primary reason why the offer sucks is that winnings from the 10 free spins you’re awarded are capped at £1 so even if you strike it lucky on those spins, you’ll only be allowed to keep a fraction of your potential winnings which defeats the point. Of course an operator is going to cap your maximum win, but surely this could be set at a more acceptable level such as £50 or £100?
Because Queen Bee Bingo utilises a single-page design, there isn’t a dedicated promotions page where you can learn vast amounts of information about other deals that are in place. There’s a paragraph of text that makes mention of them in passing however, including free bingo rooms, where you can likely win £1 at best, and a rewards programme which has 15 tiers. As you ascend through its levels, you’ll earn free spins, free bingo tickets and other perks. There may be some breath-taking offers available at Queen Bee Bingo that are only revealed once you’ve signed up, but don’t hold your breath.

Popular Bingo Variants

In typical Cassava Enterprises fashion, your bingo comes down to two choices: 75-ball or 90-ball. These games are by far the most popular variants to be found in the UK so it makes sense that they’re offered here. Tickets are cheap, or at least as cheap as bingo tickets at most other British bingo sites, and you can purchase multiple tickets for a single game if you like.
In terms of slots, it’s the same old games that are available at thousands of other sites by this operator so there’s nothing new here. On the plus side, these include some great NetEnt games such as Fairytale Legends: Hansel & Gretel plus Fiddle Dee Dough and Irish Eyes, which is a slot all about an Irish woman who has eyes that are, you know...Irish.

Queen Bee Bngo Conclusion

Queen Bee Bingo is a functional but unexceptional site for playing bingo and slots. It’s bedeviled by the usual flaws that crop up at all Cassava Enterprises sites. There are some good games here, that’s true, but nothing novel, original or unique. You could have a good time if you signed up here and put its games to the test, but then the same could be said of all this operator’s other sites. Queen Bee Bingo gets the job done then, whether you’re playing on mobile or desktop, but it’s nothing to write home about.

Kozmo Bingo Review – A Tour around the No-Wagering Galaxy

Kozmo Bingo is a new website launched just a few months ago. In the short time it’s been operating, it’s built a loyal fan base, as it not only offers a fantastic welcome treat, but is also giving away thousands of pounds in jackpots every week. The site runs on Dragonfish and has a nice layout with a colourful design. It features a decent selection of bingo rooms and an impressive slots catalogue.
If you’re looking for something exciting and different, perhaps even “out of this world”, this is a website that deserves your attention with its refreshingly new approach to bonuses and overall playing experience. Promotions with no wagering requirements, quirky games, and secure software? Those are nice but what else does it have to offer? Read on as we review all the details.

Making a Registration with the Site

Signing up with Kozmo Bingo is a very fast and simple process. You need to go through three easy steps – basic info, address, and account info. In the account info section, you have to enter the promo code if you’d like to take advantage of the welcome offer. You don’t need to provide any financial details at the time of registration if you don’t want to make a deposit.
However, when it’s time for you to withdraw your winnings, you will have to complete the verification process which is now a standard practice with all online operators and is aimed at ensuring players’ safety and protecting vulnerable persons from partaking in gambling activities.
When you’ve successfully completed your registration, you will be taken to the games lobby where you will find a diverse selection of slots and many promotions on a daily basis. Let’s have a closer look at those.

On Sunday, £250 are up for grabs and all you need in order to participate is to have funds in your account. Kozmic Rewards Programme – The Ace Club

As soon as you wager £1, you will be entered into Kozmo’s loyalty programme at level 1. The more you play, the more points you will get in order to unlock new levels. You will receive free spins every day that start from 1 for level 1 and reach 50 for the highest level 15. Level 5 and onwards will also get you cashback bonuses. When you reach level 10, you will have access to exclusive VIP rooms, and at level 12 you will get your personal account manager. Points are updated every 24 hours and the free spins have a one-day validity. The loyalty benefits such as the cashback, free cars, and access to the free room are calculated monthly and take into account the previous month activity.

A Look at the Bingo Games at the Kozmo Website

Being a relatively new site, Kozmo doesn’t offer a big number of games but it does have a decent selection featuring 3 classic 90-ball rooms, three 75-ball games, as well as two interesting 52-ball games – Candylicious played with sweets instead of the classic bingo balls and Hit 52 played with cards. Whichever room you choose, you will enjoy a very neat layout, with the tickets taking the main section of the screen and a side game and chat window to the right.
The bingo section opens in a separate tab and gives you direct access to your profile, the bingo games lobby, and the promotions page. Tickets start at just 4p for the Fun’in 90 room and go up to 50p for Street Party and Wonky – both 75-ball games offering impressive jackpots and 1TG &2TG rewards. The 75-ball rooms are open only at specific times and patterns, while 90-ball bingo is available all the time. While you wait for a game to start or the numbers to be called, you can choose from a variety of side games and progressive jackpots. You can save favourite games or spin a wheel for a random game for an element of surprise.

Impressive Slot Selection

In addition to its bingo games, Kozmo offers a catalogue of slots that many casinos will have hard time matching. There are more than 250 games from leading providers like NetEnt, Eyecon, WMS, SG Interactive, and more. You will find different themes and bonus rounds, all of them optimised for mobile. The selection includes everything from classics like Starburst, Rainbow Riches, and Cleopatra to the latest NetEnt titles Copy Cats, Wild Wild West, and Dead or Alive, with the popular TV shows, music, and movie themes all in there as well. From Titanic, to Jimi Hendrix, to The Three Stooges – you name it, they have it. There are over 40 jackpot games, as well as instant wins and even keno.

Available Platforms and Mobile Apps from Kozmo Bingo

Kozmo Bingo is available for instant-play on all devices, there’s no need for you to download anything. The website has responsive design that adapts to the specifications of mobile devices and loads the most suitable version based on the display size. There are currently no native apps on the iTunes or Google Play stores, which is understandable for a newly launched site. If you’d like to play bingo on the go, you can simply visit the site via your phone or tablet’s browser and a mobile-friendly version will be loaded instantly.
Like the main website, the responsive version is easy to navigate and has a clean layout, with just four categories “Games” for the slots and instant wins, “Bingo” for the 90-ball and 75-ball games, “Rearwards” where you can see your progress in the Ace Club and “More” where you will find your account info and settings, as well as the T&C and licensing of the site. If you want to make a deposit, there’s a big pink button “Banking” at the very top that will load the cashier section.
The games are perfectly optimised for mobile and the bingo lobby retains the simplicity of the main site, so playing on the go is an uncomplicated process. When you load a bingo game, the you will see the chat and side games at the bottom of the screen, along with “Cards” where you can purchase well, cards, really.

In the cashier section you can keep track of pending withdrawals and check the history of all your transactions.

Withdrawals are Processed Fast and Securely

The minimum withdrawal sum is £5. If you’d like to cash out less, you can contact customer care. The withdrawal will be done via the same way you’ve used to deposit. If you’ve deposited via a prepaid card, you will get your cash by cheque or wire transfer. Before making a withdrawal, you may have to verify your ID. To do that, open the More tab in the cashier and upload your document. All transactions done on the site are encrypted by Secure Sockets layer (SSL) software for your peace of mind.

Star Casino Review

Star Casino is an online casino website based in Italy. Ever since it was founded in 2012, the casino has gathered several noteworthy accolades. The casino is operated by Betsson Group, a Maltese company and subsidiary of Betsson AB. This company has been in the gambling business since the 1960s and has earned an excellent reputation since then.
Back in 2010, online gambling was legalized in Italy and as a result, many foreign and domestic companies could release their online casinos to the general public. All they had to do is gain a license from the Autonomous Administration of State Monopolies, or AAMS (from Italian) for short, which sets the standards and regulations for games of chance and skill, casino games, sports, and horse race betting. Star Casino is indeed licensed by this government institution.
Star Casino has all the right stuff going for it and in 2012 it was named Casino Operator of the Year at the eGaming Review (EGR) Awards in London. The games are provided by NetEnt, which means that StarCasino hosts some of the best slot games out there, as well as live and virtual game tables. Games diversity is excellent and there is something for everyone here. Their customer support is also impeccable and considering that they won the Best Customer Services Operator at EGR Awards in 2012, you can rest assured that you are in safe hands.

Star Casino Software Providers

Star Casino has teamed up with NetEnt for the supply of their games and software. Having its humble beginnings in the distant 1996, NetEnt has gained critical acclaim and proven itself to be a reliable and trustworthy software provider. Nowadays NetEnt is one of the biggest and most recognizable brands in the online casino industry and it services a staggering number of reputable online casinos. Some of the most popular online casino games in the world such as Starburst, South Park, and Mega Fortune were developed by NetEnt.
Following NetEnt’s standards, the games hosted on Star Casino simply ooze quality. All games are Instant Play and do not require any additional software to be run. They feature top-notch graphics and audio while providing a fun and exciting gameplay experience. The variety of games is nothing to scoff at either. With over 200 unique titles, Star Casino boasts an exceptional selection. The randomness of the games is tested by a third-party company so that the results are guaranteed to be genuine and untampered.

Available Games

Star Casino has a wide array of games available on offer. The selection of games is enough to satisfy even the most demanding of gamblers. Here you will find all the classics, along with many different newer styles. Star Casino constantly improves its game selection by adding new titles while keeping in line with its current standards of quality. To ensure transparency and honesty, StarCasino has posted the player return percentage of each game on their platform. This is a gesture of good faith that not all casinos are prepared to make and it deserves to be recognized.

Slots

The majority of StarCasino’s gaming portfolio consists of slots and the casino has nearly 200 of them on offer. A player may go on for days and weeks before they can experience every single game in this section. As with most NetEnt games, the graphics are beautiful and clear, while the music is immersive and engaging from the beginning.
Veteran slot fans can immediately play their favorite Starburst, Gonzo’s Quest, Twin Spin, Wild Wild West, and much more. Additionally, you will also find slots themed with various popular culture intellectual properties such as Guns n’ Roses, Batman, and The Flash, among others. The games impress not only with their visual and audio quality but with a number of great features as well, including profitable symbols like wilds and scatter, and free spins rounds.

Blackjack

Blackjack players will be delighted to know that the casino hosts several blackjack games. The blackjack selection is not as extensive as what some other casinos have to offer, but the games stand out with top quality. You can expect to find Single Deck Blackjack, BJ Double Exposure, Pontoon, Ventuno, and Blackjack Champion.
The games are exceptionally authentic, so players will never again think of visiting a land-based casino in order to enjoy their favorite game of twenty-one. Additionally, you can engage in Live Blackjack games that are hosted by professional croupiers with years of experience behind their back.

Poker

The casino has provided some excellent poker games to its loyal clientele. Players who are new to poker and therefore, lack the required experience and skill, can try out some of the available video poker variations including staples such as Jacks or Better Double Up, Joker Wild Double Up, All American Double Up, and Deuces Wild Double Up.
More skilled players are given the option to dive in StarCasino’s fantastic selection of table poker games, which consists of Texas Hold’em, Oasis Poker, Casino Hold’em, Caribbean Poker, Ultimate, and Texas Hold’em, among others. When playing in the Live Casino, you can dabble in Live Poker and test your skills against the friendly and seasoned dealers as the games are streamed in real-time.

Roulette

Seeing the roulette wheel spin is a thrill anyone can enjoy. At StarCasino, you can have your pick from a large variety of live and virtual Roulette titles, each one impressing with authenticity, flexible bet limits, and seamless gameplay.
The selection includes many different styles of roulette, including traditional options such as French Roulette, Classic Roulette, and European Roulette, which are preferred due to their lower house advantage. Also, there are some more extravagant types like Golden Ball, Lucky Lady Roulette, Sizzling Hot Roulette, Dolphin Pearl Roulette, and more.

Jackpots

A player wishing to get rich quick can try their shot at winning a huge jackpot at Star Casino. These games offer a very large payout potential and guaranteed fun while playing them. Star Casino currently offers four different Jackpot games, which are Divine Fortune, Chili Gold 2, Cosmic Fortune, and Caribbean Stud Poker. NetEnt jackpot classics such as Arabian Nights or Mega Fortune are not available at this casino at the moment, but surely more progressive titles will be added to the portfolio in the future.

Live Casino

If you wish to have the experience of playing at a brick-and-mortar casino without leaving the comfort of your surroundings, you can opt to play at StarCasino’s Live Casino. There you will be served by professional dealers, who aim to offer a top-quality service to all players. These croupiers speak fluent Italian and will help you with any and all questions you may have. The Live Casino hosts a wide array of games including different variants of Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat as well as several variations of Poker.

Supported Devices

In order to play at StarCasino, all you need to have is a stable Internet connection and an Internet browser. All games are run using Adobe Flash Player, so make sure that you have downloaded it from the Adobe website or that it is embedded in your browser. Luckily, all modern commercial browsers, such as Opera, Chrome, Safari, and Mozilla Firefox, come with a pre-installed Flash Player so you need not worry about anything when playing.
If you do not wish to be tied down to your computer or laptop, or if you are on the go but still want to play, you can do so on your smart device. The site supports a mobile version for smartphones and tablets, running on iOS and Android. Games are adapted for mobile use and are optimized to fit the smaller display, while still retaining their usability and rendering information just as well as on your desktop computer. What you have to also keep in mind is that some games may not run on your mobile device. There is no official post listing the unsupported games so you would have to find that out on your own.
At the present moment, StarCasino does not offer a native downloadable app for smartphones or tablets when other similar websites go out of their way to provide one to their player base. However, StarCasino is more than likely to change this omission in the near future.
The experience of playing on a mobile browser may prove to be sub-par compared to that on a dedicated app or on a desktop computer. Different smartphones perform differently and some players may not have any issues, while for others, it may be unplayable. It is recommended that you play on a newer device as those have way fewer problems in terms of performance and stability.

Bonuses and Promotions

Star Casino offers enticing bonuses and promotions for new and returning players. The Casino offers a no deposit bonus of €10. The Welcome Bonus rewards you with 200% of your deposit up to €100. Your second deposit will get you a 200% bonus up to €200. When depositing for the third time you will receive a bonus of 200% of your deposit up to €300, while the limit of your fourth deposit goes up to €400. The site does not mention the wagering limit on these bonuses, so it is better to turn to customer service to make sure what their terms are.
The casino offers a loyalty point system for long-time players. Every €5 played on slot machines, or €10 wagered on video poker and table games, will earn you points which you can later redeem for cash. The minimum you can convert is 100 points, which equals €1. Any money gained via this loyalty point system must only be wagered one time so that you may keep your winnings from it.
Star Casino also offers weekly or monthly bonuses for a limited time, where you have a chance to gain a cash bonus, free spins or if luck was not on your side you may recover a portion of your money. These offers are diverse and fun, so each time you will have a different experience. They also change on a regular basis so check the Promotions page to see what is currently available.

All Accepted Methods

Customer Support

As mentioned above, StarCasino received the Best Services Operator award in 2012 at the EGR in London. They have supplied multiple methods of communication should you wish to contact them with a problem or a question. The most convenient way would be to call them at over the telephone. Another way to get in touch is via email, at [email protected]. The third option is to use the live chat system on their website. All operators speak excellent Italian and will be able to assist you with any and all problems. Customer Service is available to players seven days a week.
Customer Service and the website itself are available only in Italian. You have to keep that in mind if you are an international player and wish to make use of the casino’s services.

Licensing and Restricted Countries

Star Casino is one of the most respected casinos on the Italian gambling market. It holds a license issued by the Autonomous Administration of State Monopolies (AAMS from Italian), which regulates and sets the standards for casinos operating in the jurisdiction of the Italian Republic. Additionally, their random number generation systems are tested regularly by TST, a reputable firm known for guaranteeing the randomness of online casino games. With all this in place, players can rest assured knowing that their results are truly random and are not tampered with.
Star Casino is primarily directed at the Italian market and is not intended for international users. Despite this, players from foreign countries may attempt to register on the website. On the registration page, you will be asked to supply proof of identification and enter some personal information. This is a standard requirement for every well-established online casino with an AAMS license. If you manage to register you have to keep in mind that the website and the support service provided by its agents are exclusively in Italian, so if you do not speak the language, you will have a hard time here.
