250 Local Multiplayer Games from 50 Different Genres to Play on PlayStation 5

There are more local multiplayer games than ever, but most are indie games overshadowed by AAA titles. The PS4 has been getting about 60 new games a month in 2020 – 28% of which include local multiplayer - but most people only hear about a handful of them. I’m going to list 5 local multiplayer games per genre. I’m setting a limit because I will just keep going for some genres if I don’t. They will be in order of highest quality game to lowest quality. I had no problems finding games for each genre – almost all should have a Metacritic rating over 70%, with only a few exceptions (most notably the 3D Simulation Games).
Some games can really qualify for two genres, like Fury Unleashed, which is both a run & gun and roguelike. If this happens, I either pick the one it leans more strongly towards, or I just choose. No game will ever appear more than once on this list.
I posted a smaller version of this list about two months ago – I've since added links to the U.S. PlayStation Store page for each game, an overview section via a link that discusses 20 of the games on the list, and pictures for every game on the list. Click on the genre name to view the pictures. The photo album will list five games for each genre – not all pictures show the game in a state of local multiplayer, but they should give you an idea of what the game looks like regardless.

I estimate there to be at least 1000 local multiplayer games on PS4. I still run into new ones on the PlayStation Store all the time. I know it's overwhelming to look at a post with a bunch of games you've never heard of before and make a choice. So I’m going to link to a post I made that discusses 20 local multiplayer games for PS4:
Overview of 20 Local Multiplayer Games for PlayStation 4
Click here if you also own either an Xbox One or Switch – I list some games available for both these platforms that aren’t on PlayStation 4/5.

Stop scrolling, you're going to miss your new best friend !

Hey internet people, I'm currently looking for one or two or more (but not too much) super long term PlayStation BFFs to game and chat together in a wholesome and relaxing atmosphere. No judgement, no yelling, no bad vibes here.
I'm a 25 French male with a shitty baguette accent that you'll be delighted to hear in my mic. I'm not too competitive but if the need were to arise I can get the job done! Multiplayer wise I have Red Dead Redemption 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Minecraft Dungeons, Borderlands 3, Minecraft, Battlefront 2, GTA V, Worms Rumble, The Division 2, Street Fighter V, Injustice, SnowRunner, Ghost of Tsushima, Titan Quest, Friday the 13th, ARK, Call of Duty Modern Warfare and WWII, 7 Days to Die, How to Survive 2, PES 2020, Nidhogg 2, Rock Band 4, Bloodborne, Titanfall 2, Conan Exiles, For Honor and I recently acquired The Forest (like two days ago) and I'm also eager to start a game on No Man's Sky which has been gathering dust on my shelf for far too long. As you can see I'm super open on games, I like to try a lot of things and I don't mind buying new games in order to play with you.
What more can I say? If you play with me I'll come to your wedding, and I'll invite you to mine so we can pretend to have IRL friends. I play on PS4 pro and that will still be the case for a few years to come. I don't mind chatting on discord or else and... just be yourself, unless you are creepy or annoying, then please pretend to be someone else.
Send me a pm if you are ready to pass the final test and answer the three questions that will determine if we can game along.
Cheers, lots of love.
Edit: I received a lot more friend requests and messages than I thought I would (and it's a good thing!), don't worry I'll give everyone a chance to chat and game, don't panic if I'm not getting back to you very quickly!

How to turn Ark into a singleplayer game

Okay, one more time.
A couple of years ago I posted this guide for game settings if you want to play singleplayer. Over time I've tweaked the settings that I personally play on to the point that there are some important differences between that original post and what I now consider to be more balanced and ideal game settings. I might not have made this new post except that I still get people messaging me about the original and I'll occasionally recieve awards on it (I recieved another one right before writing this). The problem is that those original settings are kind of bad. They were a good starting point but they really needed some refinement before I was able to truly forget about the game settings altogether and actually play the game.
So without further adieu, and in the interest of helping new players who may stumble across that original post, here are my ideal game settings to play and enjoy singleplayer. As per last time, these settings are used on a PS4 so I don't have any recommendations for mods and I don't have access to the ini files.
I'm only going to list the settings that I change, so anything not listed below should stay at the default.

Under General settings

Difficulty - 1.0
Player Resistance - 0.5
XP Multiplier - 12
Taming speed - 0.5
Dino Harvesting Damage - 2
Harvest Amount - 3
Dino Character Food Drain - 10
Dino Character Health Recovery - 2
Player Harvesting Damage - 0.5 (this makes it take longer to harvest things by hand/with tools, encourages harvesting with tames. Increase if you don't like that)
And make sure to check the checkboxes for "Maximum Difficulty", "Disable Structure Placement Collision", and "Allow Multiple Platform Floors".
(And don't check the box for "singleplayer settings" because it'll actually screw everything up.)

Under Advanced settings

Check the boxes for "Non Permanent Diseases" and "Override Structure Platform Prevention"
Structure Prevent Resource Radius Multiplier - 0.2
Poop Interval - 20
Lay Egg Interval - 0.5
Mating Interval - 0.1
Egg Hatch Speed - 11
Baby Mature Speed - 50
Harvest Health - 5
Baby Cuddle Interval Multiplier - 0.012
Baby Cuddle Grace Period Multiplier - 2
Baby Imprinting Scale Multiplier - 1.5
Day Cycle Speed - 2
Spoiling Time - 3
No Resource Radius Players - 0.5
No Resource Radius Structures - 0.2
Crop Growth Speed - 3
Crop Decay Speed - 3
"Wild Dino Stats Per Level"
 Health - 2
"Tamed Dino Stats Per Level"
 Health - 0.1 Weight - 1.6 Damage - 0.08
"Tamed Dinos Add Per Level"
 Health - 0.07 Damage - 0.07
"Tamed Dino Stats Affinity"
 Health - 0.22 Damage - 0.22
"Player Stats Per Level"
 Weight - 50
Check the checkboxes for "Flyer Platform Unaligned Basing", "Passive Def Hurt Riderless Dinos", "Only Allow Specified Engrams", "Show Floating Damage Text", "Allow Custome Recipes", and "Allow Raid Dino Feeding"
Raid Dino Food Drain - 10
Crafting Skill Bonus Multiplier - 2
Supply Crate Loot Quality - 2
Fishing Loot Quality - 2
Increase Platform Structure Limit - 1000
Some of these settings are arguably personal preference, like how I set the dino food drain multiplier so high because I like having to feed my dinosaurs more often. But a lot of these settings work in tandem with eachother after agonizing over them for a lot longer than I'd like to admit. For example, the XP multiplier is so high because otherwise it would be impossible to level up a reaper fetus due to the increased egg hatch/pregnancy speeds. Etc etc, use caution when changing lots of settings.
Mostly you can just set up these settings and then forget about them, but bear in mind that it's okay to change them if you want to later on.

A note about Engrams...

When I play I use the giveengrams command to unlock all non-tek engrams from the beginning. I don't feel that this meaningfully detracts from the game. Ark is designed so that one player is not able to learn all crafting recipes by themselves, because you're meant to tribe up online. Singleplayer doesn't have this benefit, and not being able to learn crafting recipes isn't fun when gathering resources and learning how and what to craft is itself a challenge (especially for new players). Keep in mind that you may need to reactivate the giveengrams admin command every time you load into your game, at least if you plan on crafting something in a workbench. The game forgets engrams for things crafted in workbenches whenever you load your game or die, so if you open up your smithy or fabricator or whatever and can't craft anything, that's why.
To activate admin commands in singleplayer (on PS4) just press L1+L2+R1+R2+SQUARE+TRIANGLE at the same time in the pause menu and a text box will appear. Simply type giveengrams into it and press enter to learn all the engrams.
Also remember to disable the engrams for handcuffs, radio, smoke grenade, lance, poison grenade, and silencer because these items have no use in singleplayer. Disabling them will prevent them from showing up in loot crates and drops. Mostly the lance. I hate the lance so much.
Have fun out there, everyone!
Edit: also, bookmark Dododex and download the app on your phone. You'll thank me later. It doesn't hurt to bookmark the Ark wiki as well. If you're new, these will be your best friends because this game doesn't tell you anything, and occasionally the information found in the game itself is outdated or just wrong. Use the wiki, use dododex.

150 Local Multiplayer Games from 30 Different Genres to Play on PlayStation 5

Edit: I've expanded the list to 250 Local Multiplayer Games from 50 Different Genres. I’ve also included links to the U.S. PlayStation Store page for each game. I’ve also added a photo album for the five games for each genre – not all pictures show the game in a state of local multiplayer, but they should give you an idea of what the game looks like regardless. Click on the genre name to view the pictures.
I had no problems finding games for each genre – almost all should have a Metacritic rating over 70%, with only a few exceptions (like Outward, but patches have improved it).
Some games can really qualify for two genres, like Fury Unleashed, which is both a run & gun and roguelike. If this happens, I either pick the one it leans more strongly towards, or I just choose. No game will ever appear more than once on this list.

Looking for a Multiplayer or Co-Op game maybe even a hidden gem!

My friend and I are having a very hard time finding new fun multiplayer games. It seems the past year has not been the best for multiplayer ps4 titles that we can find. We play a lot of the classics like Rocket League and Minecraft. We even played a lot of battlefront 2 for a while. Most genres appreciated whether it’s a shooter or a survival game every suggestion is appreciated
Multiplayer would be preferred but as long as we can play with around 2-4 people then it should be fine! We would also like to be able to dump a lot of hours into it so a game with replay ability is greatly appreciated. Honestly at this point I’m just trying to find more stuff to describe to get to the 300 word minimum hah
Also before anyone says Ark survival evolved because Minecraft it’s not personally my cup of tea my friend loves it but I could never get into it. Also any games on sale on the ps store are also greatly appreciated
Wow 300 words is so much I feel like I’m writing a paper for class again I don’t know why the minimum is so high! But please just drop some suggestions and why you enjoy the game and I will reply and give it a look! How old the game is or graphics don’t matter as long as it is fun and we can dump tons of hours into it and have fun but also not be required to dump in hundreds of hours just to have fun (that ones for war frame)
Also please no pay to win games or anything of that nature if we wanted to play a game with no morals we would pick up a copy of battlefield 5. Thank you!
Edit: I see now it’s 300 characters not words and I feel a bit stupid

Looking for a ps4 game

Me and 2 friends are looking for a ps4 game which we can play for a longer time. We want to have something mmo like that is fun to play for a long period, but doesn't force you to play if you need a break for a while (hate the feeling of missing something). Pretty open for anything but we just don't like games like diablo, lol or wow.
So far we've really enjoyed gta online, division 1 and destiny 2. Those were the games we've spend most of our time in and it should be something with that kinda long term fun.
We thought about ark or minecraft survival because we've liked the idea of building something. But ark is too expensive and we don't know if we'll actually enjoy it so that's out. Minecraft doesn't seem to be too much fun on console and we don't won't to play on our crappy laptops.
Any recommendations welcome please and thank you!

My ideal Jojo Game

I've seen a lot of posts talking about their ideal jojo game, but they usually don't go into great detail about it. But not me, because I has this idea in my head for too long and I need to share it with my fellow jobros.
This post will be fairly similar to the video series Build Your Own Roster by Thorgy's Arcade, specifically his 2 parter about his ideal marvel vs capcom 4,
Essentially, it would be a 2d fighter made by ArkSystemWorks, styled like dbfz but with some asb and hftf mechanics.
Before I start, however, I would like to thank u/Abni_the_toad for helping me with the Pucci moveset (oops spoilers)
CONTROLS (PS4 and PS5 / XBOX One or Series X / Nintendo Switch / PC):
· Light Attack: square / X / A / U
· Medium Attack: triangule / Y / X / I
· Heavy Attack: O / B / A / K
· Projectile Attack: X / A / B / J
· Pose (like the ki charge in dbfz, you can recharge the super meter by doing a pose for some time): pressing left analogue button / space bar
· Stand Mode: right analogue button / caps lock
· Jojo Rush (similar to the dragon rush that can send enemies upwards, you do a rush that ends with a small barrage of punches; if both do it at the same time, a small button mashing minigame starts): R1 / RB / R / J + K
· Assists / Switch: L1 and L2 / LB and LT / L and ZL / L and M
ROSTER:

Ok, so... some controversial cuts... and with that I mean: SPEEDWAGON BEST WAIFU.
Look, ArkSys usually makes small rosters. That is impossible if you want to satisfy jojo fans, so I tried to cut down any unnecessary characters. In dbfz, every frame is a reference to the manga and no move is made up. That's awsome. However, Speedwagon didn't have much fights and didn't show a big variety of moves, so he wouldn´t translate well into this game.
But a good idea is to make him Jonathan's projectile attack and as a narrator for the game. He should also serve as a guide in the story mode like in EOH, so this should be enough to satisfy you...
The exact same problem and solution for F.F (but she's a projectile attack for Jolyne and maybe Ermes)
Also, I haven't finished part 7 or 8, but am aware of most deaths and some of the biggest fights, so I'll need you to tell me if I should include more characters.
OH, also, there will be premium skins for some characters, like in injustice 2. Per example, Jotaro should have a premium skin for part 4 and part 6 jotaro, making the time freeze shorter but maybe increasing speed or defense (and the animation for the level 3 would be different) and another one for Diego (to separate the alternate world diego from the scary monsters one)
STAGES:
· Joestar Mansion (there is fire in the corners, taking chip damage from anyone that gets close to it; the stage consists of the 2nd floor of the mansion)
· Dio's Castle (chandelier falls, a zombie or two can grab a character if he gets too close to the door; both the inside of the top floor and the balcony are explorable)
· Exploding Ship (not so sure about this one...)
· Lisa Lisa's Island (exactly like EOH, but in ASB style)
· Abandoned House where Kars was hidden (don't know about this one...)
· Chariot Arena (exactly like ASB)
· Volcano (volcano erupts from time to time and the rock were Joseph defeats Kars is projected into the air)
· Jotaro's school (the possessed nurse can appear and attack the players)
· Hong Kong
· Desert (it can turn into the dream world where Death 13 is fightable)
· Dio Mansion (the stage design is constantly morphing because do Kenny G)
· Cairo streets (it's a bigger stage, being able to access the rooftops through a door in the left or right side of the stage)
· Morioh (it’s the biggest stage of them all, so you can combine the EOH and ASB version of it; also the cursed alleyway is accessible)
· Train (combination of the train from the Bruno fight and the one from the pesci fight, with the train being long and every wagon explorable; grateful dead is a hazard)
· San Giorgio Maggiore (The basement of the church from the first King Crimson fight)
· Beach of Sardania
· Streets of Rome
· Colosseum (Chariot requiem swaps the players bodies like ginyu in dbfz)
· Green dolphin street prison (you can explore a 2D version of the EOH version)
· Hospital (the front of the hospital, with rainbows the background; blood spikes can take chip damage out of whoever touches them)
· Kennedy space center (you have shit floating around in the background)
Don't know sbr and jjl stages, so I'm not going to talk about that anymore.
Please give me some suggestions...

Rohan:

· Level 3: Killer Queen already touched that (Kira can turn any part of the map into a bomb, making the enemy explode and taking tons of damage)
· Level 3: Bites the Dust – only with BTD version (a super that can only be used after Kira has <20% health; most like the M.U.G.E.N., it restarts the clock and both the enemy’s health – it restarts the match; after this, a new clock appears, one that only goes until the timestamp of the opponent’s death by BTD; the objective is for the opponent to kill Kira before the time ends; Kira can no longer use Killer Queen based attacks, otherwise I will cancel the countdown)

· I hate repeating things when it’s unnecessary (Giorno grows a small tree, standing on top of it and gaining aerial advantage)

Supers:
· Level 1: It’s that damn rock again… (Rolling Stone appears behind Mista and touches the enemy, giving a lot of damage to the opponent; if Mista wins, the rock appears again, with the characters of the opposite team appearing sculpted in it)
· Level 3: Alright, boys!!! (Mista shoots one single bullet, and the Pistols proceed to kick in different directions, hitting the opponent a lot of times, then proceeding to kick the bullet at the same time for the final blow)

· Level 3: Distortion (Purple Hazes takes a swing at the opponent; Fugo suddenly has 2 of Purple Haze’s knuckle capsules inside his mouth and cracks it with his teeth, releasing the killer virus onto the enemy; while the enemy turns into a white silhouette in front of a black background, an image of distortion flashes; after this, PH is constantly in his distortion form, receiving a small bust in power)
Trish:

Diavolo:
Specials:
· What you just saw is your future self (Diavolo stays still for like, 3 seconds and, if you are hit in those 3 seconds, POW, Diavolo is replaced by a 2nd version of the attacker, who hit himself, and Diavolo is in the opposite corner of the screen; while this happens, the original version of the foe disapears)
· I want to see you attack me when you’re blind (Diavolo throws a small amount of blood to the opponent’s eyes, losing a bit of hp, but trading the opponent’s controls for the opposite for 5 seconds – if he presses down, the command executed is
· Narancia’d (KC visual effects appear and the enemy is now impaled by a fence)

Jolyne:
Specials:
· I call it stone free (Jolyne plants a trap on the ground; if the enemy steps on it, Jolyne traps them in her string, paralysing him for a bit)
· Mobius strip (Jolyne stays still for like 3 seconds and if she is attacked, the attack will miss, going through the Mobius strip)
· I can turn any part of my body into string (Jolyne can dash by turning part of her arm – similar to Bucciaratti’s Zipper Transporter)
Supers:
· Level 1: Father-Daughter Ora Ora Rush (Jolyne traps the enemy, and then she and Jotaro do a ora ora rush)

Anasui:
Specials: ?????

· Level 1: ????
· Level 3: ????
Weather:
Specials:
· Space suit (increases the speed)
· Fog (a fog covers the screen, making it harder for the enemy to see)
· Thunder shock (Weather stays still for 3 seconds and if the enemy touches him, the enemy is electrified)
· Weather Report can control any fluids (Weather chokes his enemy and throws him, after taking water out of his eyes and mouth)

Supers:
· Level 1: O2 can be poisonous (Weather Report the stand appears and the enemy kneels down, taking damage as he breaths O2 in toxic proportions)
· Level 2: The Final Blow (if u spend another bar of meter, after the level 1, the stand slowly walks up to the enemy before striking a powerful downwards punch)
· Level 3: Heavy Weather (Weather Report hits himself with the memory disc, making multiple rainbows appear, covering the entire screen; anyone who touches the rainbow take damage)
Pucci:
Specials:
· Zero Gravity (Pucci can fly for a bit)
· Reverse Gravity (As Pucci walks, the enemy is pushed to the corner until there’s no way to run; this also pushes any projectile attacks away)

· Knife Throw (after MiH)
· Teleportation (after MiH)
· ?????
Supers:
· Level 1: Punch Barrage
· Level 3: Inside Out (C-Moon hits the enemy in the chest once, making the enemy implode)
· Level 3: Made in Heaven (Pucci hops on top of that metal stuff and ascends; C-Moon turns into Made in Heaven; this is a fun trick, because you can only enter the metal stuff if you get hit, and the super animation looks literally like a normal stand still animation)
· Level 1: The world is accelerating (A high-speed jet crashes on top of the enemy)
· Level 3: Invisible to the human eye (similar to Hit’s Level 3 in DBFZ, Pucci and MiH hit the opponent really fast, leaving only trails of their movement)
SOME NOTES:
· Koichi’s projectile attack is Yukako shooting small pointy fragments of her hair
· Fugo’s Purple Haze has a small cloud of virus that takes poison damage out of anyone within that range, even Fugo himself
· Made in Heaven Pucci starts a bit faster than he was before, but he keeps getting faster and faster as time moves on
I don’t know what to do with Anasui so any suggestion is cool.
This is everything I can come up with now. Got a couple of cool ideas for skins or DLC, but nothing that is totally figured out, so I’m leaving it out.
If you have any suggestion I can repost this with updates, but yeah, that’s it. I’m really interested in knowing what YOU would like to see in your own jojo game. Maybe make a post like this one, just send me the link for me to read it.

Bf toxic when we play games but only to me

My (18) boyfriend (21) and I play Ark together on ps4. You might already know what Ark is but if you don’t, it’s basically an online survival game where you can build up make tribes and raid other tribes. We play with some of his ps4 friends and we’re all in a tribe together. Sometimes me and his ps4 friends fuck around when we get bored and we kill each other yadda yadda. My boyfriend always starts yelling at me and gets mad at me for “wasting bullets” but when they do it, he thinks it’s funny. The same goes for lots of other shit I do in game. He’ll always yell at me when I’m having fun but when his friends do the same shit, he laughs. I guess it’s not really a big deal but it kinda makes me sad and I don’t understand why he treats me so differently than them.

100 Local Multiplayer Games from 20 Different Genres

There are more local multiplayer games than ever, but most are indie games overshadowed by AAA titles. The PS4 has been getting about 60 new games a month in 2020 - 28% of which include local multiplayer - but most people only hear about a handful of them. I’m going to list 5 local multiplayer games per genre. I’m setting a limit because I will just keep going for some genres if I don’t. They will be in order of highest quality game to lowest quality.
I’ve also included links to the U.S. PlayStation Store page for each game.
See below for the list.

Notes About the List
• Resident Evil 6 Remastered and Revelations 2 also have local co-op. 6 reviewed quite a bit worse than 5, but still performed well overall. Revelations 2 plays differently from 5 and 6 - there is more environmental puzzle solving, and at times the second player uses a flashlight instead of a gun. It still performed almost as well as 5, but you should note it's not really a shooter like the other two games.
• Trine 1, 2, and 4 are 2D games. Trine 3 is a 3D game and reviewed signifncantly worse than the other two. That said, Trine 3 still performed somewhat decently.
• Flat Heroes and N++ have competitive multiplayer modes as well but were placed in the “Cooperative 2D Traditional/Precision Platformers” rather than the “Competitive 2D Platformers” section because their cooperative qualities are more robust.
• Lethal League Blaze is a sequel to Lethal League. The first one is slightly less expensive, but the sequel is generally considered to be better in nearly every way.
• Nidhogg 1 performed better than the first game, but the sequel is much more feature rich with much more maps, weapons, and character customization.
• Guns, Gore & Cannoli 1 & 2 scored about equally well. In addition to the campaign mode, the first one also has an arena type battle mode that is not present in the sequel. The sequel has a more robust moveset with dodges and jumps. The sequel also has online play and is slightly more expensive than the first one.
• AO Tennis 2 reviewed significantly better than the first game, but it is also more than twice as expensive as the first game.
• WWE 2K has a number of entries on PlayStation 4, but WWE 2K19 reviewed the best. WWE 2K20 reviewed significantly worse than all the other games in the series.
• Despite also being made by SNK, SNK 40TH ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION does not include any Metal Slug games, which is why METAL SLUG ANTHOLOGY is also under “Retro Game Series Bundles.”
• There are a number of high quality local co-op 3D platformers coming out next year, including Balan Wonderworld, It Takes Two, and A Hat in Time DLC (A Hat in Time is already local co-op on Switch and Steam). If these are all as good as they look, they’d likely replace the bottom three games under “3D Platformers”
• Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time was not included under “3D Platformers” because it’s asynchronous only.
• Blood Bowl 2 only appears on the old PlayStation Store for some reason. All the rest of the links are to the new PlayStation Store.
Hope this helps you find something new to play. Obviously there are tons of great ones that didn’t even make the list. I’ll include some below – these ones did not count towards the 225 games stated in the post title.

I estimate there to be at least 1000 local multiplayer games on PS4. I still run into new ones on the PlayStation Store all the time. I know it's overwhelming to look at a link with a bunch of games you've never heard of before and make a choice. So I’m going to link to a post I made that discusses 20 local multiplayer games for PS4:

29/CST/ PS4/PC

Just looking for new friends to play games with. I work during the day so I'm usually on in the evening during the week and free on weekends. I mainly play on ps4 but have a couple of games on steam. I'm more of a causal gamer and can suck at times so if you're super competitive we probably won't get along. I'll list a few multiplayer games below I have installed. I am also open to suggestions, especially MMOs. Feel free to PM me for more info or for discord/psn. I do prefer people 20+, no preference on gender or anything just be lgbt friendly. I am fine with voice chat but can be a little quiet at first.
PS4: The Forest, Warframe, Ark, borderlands 3, Overwatch (kind of sucky and haven't played in a while), MHW, Destiny 2
PC: ark, 7d2d, gw2 (didnt get very far)

The stress of Ark

I really enjoy Ark, I’ve always been interested in it while it was in PC, and as soon as it became available on the PS4. It was a fun experience building up. I drop the game and pick it up because as everyone knows... We can’t stay away for to long. What sucks though is if you wanna play on official servers you have to join a mega tribe. Yes you can get a couple friends to come play and you can build up a bit, but within a weak some random ass who just happened to be in a mega tribe and happened to find the server you built it, will destroy it with his thousands of mutation Dinos compared to your freshly Dino line. Like does anyone actually enjoy starting off in a mega and just get thrown into breeding? I’ve been in mega tribes and every time I join, I honestly lose interest because it literally becomes nothing but breeding and well... Almost having unlimited materials because most of these mega tribes have duped plenty of items that they can deconstruct for materials. I honestly have more excitement building up and taming new crap and breeding my own stuff. And then these giant as server wars... are just disgusting because of how nasty the frame becomes with so many people joining and surpassing the server limit. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the PvP, but majority of the time this isn’t pvp if at all, it’s just assholes off lining because no one really wants to lose what they bred, and no one wants to really lose there items.

150 Local Multiplayer Games from 30 Different Genres

There are more local multiplayer games than ever, but most are indie games overshadowed by AAA titles. The PS4 has been getting about 60 new games a month in 2020 - 28% of which include local multiplayer - but most people only hear about a handful of them. I’m going to list 5 local multiplayer games per genre. I’m setting a limit because I will just keep going for some genres if I don’t. They will be in order of highest quality game to lowest quality.
I’ve also included links to the U.S. PlayStation Store page for each game.
